Lochner’s Other Legacy: An Empty Debate

By arguing that the Constitution is nothing but a highly formalized mechanism for molding subjective opinions into law, Holmes shifted the terms of public debate toward discussion of whose subjective opinions count.

Is the second ammendment clear in its meaning?

Are these gun control laws repugnant to the constitution?

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Obama under attack

This is horrible. Big Grin

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is attacking our President Obama and state department on twitter. Telling him to mind his own business.

After the Cairo speech and his support for the Arab spring this is what they do to our president.

Awful, just awful Jack-in-the-Box

Now I remember why I do not like advance plays

Played 481 for 5 days today. 485 came out tonight. I am not to keen on an exact order returning to quickly. But they do within a certain time frame as that is one of my methods to pick str8s.

Looks like I will need to go out and buy another number tomorrow. No cookies and milk for the kids this week.

excerpt:
In taking the step, Obama would be fulfilling a vow to act alone in the face of a Republican-run House of Representatives unwilling to pass measures limiting greenhouse gases. He’d expand the scope of a Nixon-era law that was first intended to force agencies to assess the effect of projects on air, water and soil pollution.

excerpt:
While the Obama administration’s guidance could be easily rescinded by the next administration, the court rulings that stem from these cases will live on as precedents, Mannina said.

Got my number for the week

Just about run me in the poor house too. Green laugh

Bought 481 exact $0.50 str8 mid and eve for five draws each. Got tired of going to store morning and night. Probably save the $5.00 in gas for the week.
