    When the jockpot gets big, I play the same 5 numbers with each of the 35 different Power Ball numbers along with the "Power Play" for $105.00. On paper the odds are the same as if I had played all the 6 numbers differently. If I ever do win, I'm afraid they will think I would have cheated somehow (time machine). I guess I'm trying to win the Lottery in such a way that nobody has ever won it before or will ever win it again. A pipe-dream. I can only hope.

Does anybody know that if you win the lottery but you don't claim it until the following year, which year do you owe taxes in? Thanks

If I ever win a lottery some day, how do you go about finding a lawyer that knows about handling a lottery winning ahead of time? It seems a lawyer that has already worked with a winner would make the most sense.
