Funding the Trillion Dollar European Rescue

Dylan Ratigan explains your "contribution"

But, wait, just a couple months ago we were told by Bernanke (see 4:25)

"[W]e have no plans, whatsoever, to be involved in any foreign bailouts or anything of that sort."

Did I mis-hear him? Isn't lying to Congress some sort of crime? Or is that just when the topic is steroids or interns with sticky dresses? Cussing Face

TSA Man Beats Co-Worker After Genitalia Joke

A TSA worker in Miami was arrested for aggravated battery after police say he attacked a colleague who'd made fun of his small genitalia after he walked through one of the new high-tech security scanners during a recent training session.

Sources say Negrin stepped into the machine during the training session and became embarrassed and angry when a supervisor (Is that one of those so-called "trained professionals" they always tout? ~t*t) started cracking jokes about his manhood, made visible by the new machine.

Gee, they told us the machines a) didn't reveal that kind of detail and b) were not viewed by screeners in the passenger area.
But, as long as you feeeeeeel safer... schmucks.  ~t*t

PA tax ad: Nice car, Tom.

Hmmm, we refuse to document those who don't belong here (and you're a racist for wanting us to, while mandating you pay for them at the state level), but we'll GPS-track you to your front door, monitor every one of your cold medicine purchases and banking transactions (yes, some of the slaves actually read those multi-hundred page bills, but the other slaves keep 'em in line for us) and demand our "protection" money be forked over, in a timely manner.

Taliban's Ban On Poppy A Success, U.S. Aides Say
May 20, 2001

The first American narcotics experts to go to Afghanistan under Taliban rule have concluded that the movement's ban on opium-poppy cultivation appears to have wiped out the world's largest crop in less than a year, officials said today.

Marines offer cash in fight against Afghan opium (gee, the other buyers offer cash, too, don't they?) ~t*t
Sun Mar 21, 2010

After weeks of intense fighting over the Taliban stronghold of Marjah, U.S. Marines are now taking cautious aim at the drugs trade, with a program designed to pay opium farmers to destroy their own crops without a fight.

Now, how long after you collect your cash for destroying your field would it take ... for the poppies in your field to mysteriously re-sprout?
Such a clever "stra-tee-ger-ree" makes you wonder why it isn't the same policy used  with American 'growers' back home.

Buzz Aldrin - "Rocket Experience"

(source) http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20002728-503544.html

Buzz Aldrin Explains Importance of Obama's Mars Mission
On "Washington Unplugged" Friday, Host Bob Schieffer spoke with former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the Moon and pilot of the lunar module on Apollo 11.

President Obama outlined his position on NASA's future this week, which Aldrin, unlike some other astronauts, supports. Speaking with Schieffer, he gave his perspective on the future of America's space program, colonies in space, and his experience on "Dancing With the Stars."

The man who is known as the second man to step on the surface of the Moon said he never wanted the publicity of being number one.

"I didn't really want to be first, but nobody believed me!" said Aldrin.

Aldrin said the key to the space program in the future is sustainable colonies on celestial bodies, rather than on orbiting space stations. Aldrin said he wanted to see "permanence on Mars within 15 years," and that Mars' moon Phobos may be the best spot for a permanent settlement.

"This moon is the key to permanence of human beings from Earth on another planet in the solar system," said Aldrin.

Aldrin also discussed his experience dancing on TV, and his rap song "Rocket Experience," recorded with rappers Snoop Dogg and Talib Kweli and produced by the legendary Quincy Jones.

Bayer admits GMO contamination out of control

http://www.naturalnews.com/028585_GMOs_Bayer.html

Drug and chemical giant Bayer AG has admitted that there is no way to stop the uncontrolled spread of its genetically modified crops.

"Even the best practices can't guarantee perfection," said Mark Ferguson, the company's defense lawyer in a recent trial.

Looks to me like they "accidently" created a greater market for their herbicide products. Not too much of an ethical strain from the company that knowingly sold HIV contaminated "medicine" (Factor VIII) around the world. ~t*t

Casino says woman's $42M jackpot was an error

(All losses are error-free) ~t*t

http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-jackpot-032710,0,5048152.story

CENTRAL CITY - Louise Chavez thought she had won $42 million dollars. Turns out lady luck was just teasing her.

"People were coming up to me saying I won $42,000,000, or at least $42,000" says Chavez, who was playing penny slots at Fortune Valley Casino in Central City. "Lights were flashing, it sounded like a fire truck, the screen said 'see attendant.'"

When the attendant arrived, Chavez was told the machine had malfunctioned and she would not receive any payment. "They didn't tell me why."

The casino gave her a room for the night, bought her breakfast and gave her $23 dollars, the amount she says she had put into the machine.

The Director of Marketing for Fortune Valley says random numbers appeared on the screen.

"In 15 years, we have never seen anything like this before," says Joe Behm. "We have rules and regulations that we follow and it is now in the hands of the Division of Gaming."

The Division of Gaming, according to Behm, will look for forensic information in the machine's software. There is the possibility that Chavez could still win some money based on the division's findings.

As for Chavez, she is not sure what she will do next, but she's not folding. "I played the game, I put my money into the machine, whether it's 42 million, 42 thousand or 4 thousand, I should get what the machine said."
