  • President warned Monday that Omarosa Manigault-Newman signed a legal non-disclosure agreement before writing her explosive tell-all book
  • The agreement included a 'non-disparagement' clause barring her from publicly denigrating Trump 'during the time of your service, and at all times thereafter'
  • An official with his re-election campaign now says that NDA was signed after Omarosa joined the effort in the summer of 2016 
  • While the federal government likely can't enforce such an agreement because of the First Amendment's free speech protections, the campaign is a private entity
  • Official adds that some campaign aides are considering defamation suits against the former Trump booster because of what she writes about them in her book

Per Wiki "The  Streisand  effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet."

For the umpteenth time I'm not a follower of Alex Jones but feel the censorship of him, shadowbanning and take down of other commentators is having the opposite effect. The public has graduated from being spoon fed pablum to seeking out solid food (information) for themselves.
