New York and San Francisco) celebrated the tax hikes that a Hillary Clinton presidency would have undoubtedly jammed down their throats proclaiming them to be a 'patriotic duty'. Unfortunately, now that Trump has given them exactly what they apparently wanted...an amazing opportunity to 'spread their wealth around"...they're suddenly feeling a lot less patriotic.

Of course, as we've noted numerous times, while most people across the country and across the income spectrum will benefit from the Republican tax reform package, the folks who stand to lose are those living in high-tax states with expensive real estate as their SALT, mortgage interest and property tax deductions will suddenly be capped. And, as Bloomberg points out today, that has a lot of Wall Street Traders in New York drowning their sorrows in expensive vodka and considering a move to Florida. ...."

There was a sinister plot to meddle in the 2016 election, after all. But it was not orchestrated from the Kremlin; it was an entirely homegrown affair conducted from the inner sanctums---the White House, DOJ, the Hoover Building and Langley----of the Imperial City.

Likewise, the perpetrators didn't speak Russian or write in the Cyrillic script. In fact, they were lifetime beltway insiders occupying the highest positions of power in the US government.

Here are the names and rank of the principal conspirators: John Brennan, CIA director; Susan Rice, National Security Advisor; Samantha Power, UN Ambassador; James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence; James Comey, FBI director; Andrew McCabe, Deputy FBI director; Sally Yates, deputy Attorney General, Bruce Ohr, associate deputy AG; Peter Strzok, deputy assistant director of FBI counterintelligence; Lisa Page, FBI lawyer; and countless other lessor and greater poobahs of Washington power, including President Obama himself.

To a person, the participants in this illicit cabal shared the core trait that made Obama such a blight on the nation's well-being. To wit, he never held an honest job outside the halls of government in his entire adult life; and as a careerist agent of the state and practitioner of its purported goods works, he exuded a sanctimonious disdain for everyday citizens who make their living along the capitalist highways and by-ways of America.

The above cast of election-meddlers, of course, comes from the same mold. If Wikipedia is roughly correct, just these 10 named perpetrators have punched in about 300 years of post-graduate employment---and 260 of those years (87%) were on government payrolls or government contractor jobs. ...."

"A New York makeup artist who accused Donald Trump of groping her in the 1990's -  and whose  mortgage was paid off  by a donor arranged by Gloria Allred daughter Lisa Bloom, repeatedly solicited then-candidate Trump  to become his campaign makeup artist so she could pitch her new line of men's cosmetics,  according to  The Hill's John Solomon.  The story has to be true, because one couldn't make it up if one tried.

In an  October 1, 2015 email  - Trump accuser Jill Harth emailed the President's New York Company headquarters, writing:

“Hi Donald, you are doing a tremendous job of shaking things up in the United States.  I am definitely on Team Trump as so many others are.” ......

".......In  another email,  Harth attempted to meet with Trump in person, offering to be a campaign surrogate who would tell Trump voters how the future president "helped me with my self-confidence and all positive things about how he is with women." ........"

".....This latest bombshell comes on the heels of a report by Solomon and Alison Spann in The Hill  over Trump accusers who were offered or taken money or other forms of compensation by attorney Lisa Bloom in connection with allegations of sexual misconduct - most of which coincidentally cropped up weeks before the 2016 election.

Harth, in particular, took a mortgage payoff and allowed Bloom to set up a GoFundMe account in her name. As ZeroHedge  reported Saturday: ..."

"California woman's rights Attorney Lisa Bloom operated behind a scheme to compensate Trump accusers and potential accusers using money from donors and tabloid media outlets during the final months of the 2016 presidential race, in an effort which intensified as the election neared, report John Solomon and Alison Spann of  The Hill. 

Lisa Bloom’s efforts included  offering to sell alleged victims’ stories to TV outlets in return for a commission for herself,  arranging a donor to pay off one Trump accuser’s mortgage  and attempting to secure a six-figure payment for another woman  who ultimately declined to come forward after being offered as much as $750,000, the clients told The Hill. -The Hill

The various accounts of Bloom's scheme were detailed in documents, emails and text messages reviewed by  The Hill,  and come on the heels of Bill O'Reilly's claim that there is a secret tape of a women who was  offered $200,000  to file sexual harassment charges against Trump. It is unknown whether or not O'Reilly's claim is related to Bloom's activities.

Bloom, the daughter of activist Attorney Gloria Allred who initially defended Harvey Weinstein against sexual assault allegations earlier this year and was publicly shamed by anti-Trump comedian Kathy Griffin, represented four women considering launching allegations against Trump last year. Two of the women went public, while the other two declined. 

Bloom says that the goal of her accusation mill was to simply raise funds to help women "relocate or arrange security if they felt unsafe during the waning days of a vitriolic election."  With a commission to Bloom as high as 33 percent, if she was able to sell their stories to media outlets. ..."
