Women's increasing influence

Never been a feminist.  However do believe in power balance and respect between genders provides a wonderful environment for children who go forward to create a better world.

Have read due to centuries of masculine heavy influence we'll be experiencing a more feminine influence in global business and world governments, including the US to achieve balance .... win/win.  I don't see that influence being emasculating, abusive, war-against as the radical feminist movement appeared in my opinion to be.

Law of attraction snippets I've posted says wars, marches, movements against something serve to create more of what someone is "against."  Maybe that's why anarchist gravitate toward such against-something-movements fomented by the press using them as an excuse to vent rage, destroy property and loot.

Interesting article, hope you enjoy.

"The Not-So-Secret Secret to Changing the World

By Lisa Witter in September 10th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

"Women can lead the way from the survival of the fittest to the survival of the connected.

The 1994 genocide in Rwanda left the country in tatters, its future fraught with uncertainty. Of the more than 800,000 people killed, most were men and boys. Rwanda's remaining population was 70 percent female.

Fast-forward to the present day: The economy has revived and is holding steady. Major road arteries between cities and outlying villages, which were destroyed, have been rebuilt. Today, the Rwandan lower house of Parliament is nearly half female, the highest percentage of women in any parliament worldwide. Girls are attending school in record numbers.

The women of Rwanda are behind one of the most inspiring comeback stories of national transformation in recent history. And while their story is dramatic, it's not unique. Indeed, in the field of international development, women have emerged as the not-so-secret secret to changing the world.

As former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has said, "If there is one lesson we in the United Nations have learned over the years, it is that investing in women is the most productive strategy a country can pursue"-to raise economic productivity, improve nutrition and health, and educate the next generation.

When economist Muhammad Yunus won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his innovative work in microcredit lending, he made it clear that it was women who make up the bulk of the poor but ambitious small business owners lifting their communities out of poverty with their entrepreneurialism. What many people don't realize is women are behind many of the primary drivers of social change.

In the U.S., for example, women earn 78 cents to a man's dollar, which may lead you to think they give less to charity. Think again. In fact, women control over half the total wealth in America, and give just as much as men to charity. Unlike men, however, they're more willing to take risks on smaller or new organizations they believe have a strong vision for change. Studies show women volunteer more than men, and since the 1960s have turned out in greater numbers at the voting booth. In other words, women are the single most important market opportunity for changing the world.

Unfortunately, their potential has yet to be fully tapped. Professionals in the social-change sector, including advocacy groups, humanitarian organizations and philanthropists, haven't always been thoughtful about targeting women as partners. But if more of them did appeal to women, what would it look like? For starters, it would involve invoking the values that matter most to them. Research from sociological studies to the latest in brain science show that above all, women value connection and community. For women, it's not about "me," it's about "we." That means women are less concerned about the pecking order and more committed to keeping harmony in the coop.

At the dawn of the 21st century, the greatest social and environmental challenges that confront us make these values a winning blueprint for transformation. Both globalization and climate change have already made national borders more tenuous. If the reigning ethos of our history as a species has been "survival of the fittest," the temperature of today's planet requires a paradigm shift to "survival of the connected." Women can lead the way.

You don't have to be an international diplomat to take this new ethos to heart. An important first step is to ditch the niche. That is, banish the notion that women are a peripheral audience and place them squarely in the centre, where they belong. Next, engage women by speaking directly to their values and encouraging their active participation.

With women on your side, you'll both build a community and catalyze the change you want to see in the world.  "

"  Nobody else knows your reason for being. You do. Your bliss guides you to it. When you follow your bliss, when you follow your path to joy, your conversation is of joy, your feelings are of joy -- you're right on the path of that which you intended when you came forth into this physical body. "
_____________

"  Find thoughts that feel good, because it is inevitable that you are going to always be moving toward something. So why not be moving toward something that is pleasing? You can't cease to vibrate, and Law of Attraction will not stop responding to the vibration that you are offering. So, expansion is inevitable. You provide it, whether you know you do, or not. The only question is, what is the standard of joy that you are demanding for yourself? From your Nonphysical perspective, it's a high, high standard. "
__________

"  You cannot continue to beat the drum of things that don't feel good when you beat them-without filling your future experience full of things that don't feel good. At some point, there's going to be a tipping point that's going to become a manifestation.  "
_________

________

"  The greatest destruction that takes place upon your planet, and the greatest sadness that is brought about as a result of it, are your man-made, man-induced wars. And yet, when we feel into the vibration of the masses that are involved (not just the leaders, but the masses that are involved) within the conflict, it is a satisfying adventure. Wars are created because they are satisfying something within large numbers of people--or it would not be. "
________

"  Two statements that will serve you very well. The first is: There will always be war. There will always be those who aggravate within others a sense of trouble in order to promote the solution that they already have their mind made up about. And so you're never going to come into agreement as a mass consciousness that this is "the way." There will always be disagreements; therefore, there will always be turmoil; there will always be war.

The other statement, that is our favorite is: Well-Being will always abound, so the dominant experience of the majority of people will always be one of Well-Being. So you can decide, at any point in time, in what part of this you want to play. You can use anything as your excuse to align with Well-being, or you can use anything as your excuse to not align. The thing that we think is at the heart of this discussion is my own personal power. We think that's what you are, sort of, struggling for and reaching for. "

"Keep Asking ‘How Can I' Until Your Mind Supplies The Answer

By Bill Harris  March 30th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

When you see yourself as being at the effect of some cause over which you have little or no control, you feel helpless. In effect, you actually become helpless, because whatever you believe tends to manifest in reality. When you see yourself as being at effect, you automatically filter out all the possible ways you could create something different, and all the ways you have personal power. You do not see them at all. They disappear from your awareness, as if they did not exist at all.

Those who think they are at effect look outside of themselves for some cause on which to blame what is happening. When you do that, such a cause will ALWAYS appear, even it isn't really the cause. The result is that you feel helpless, and ARE helpless.

Those who believe they are AT CAUSE, of course, do not contact me for help in the first place. They realize that, even if they cannot see the connection, whatever is being created in their life comes from something in them, and if they can find what it is, they can change it. Usually, it involves what they have focused their attention on.

People who think they are at effect use words like "can't" a lot. Another favorite is "I tried." When you say "I can't," your brain steps right up and supplies you with lots of reasons why you can't, and it also blocks the creative part of your mind from figuring our how you can. Thus, the fact that you can't comes true, further reinforcing your belief that you really can't. My suggestion to such people is that instead of saying "I can't" they begin to ask "How can I?" and keep asking until their brain supplies them with the answer they want.

"I tried" is another favorite of people who think they are effect. The entire presupposition behind "I tried" is failure. No one who succeeds ever says "I tried." They say "I did it." Trying begins with the belief in failure. To try, you must make pictures in your head of failing. My suggestion is to make pictures in your head of accomplishing whatever it is you want to accomplish. When you do this, you give your brain a signal to figure out how to do it. When you "try," you give your brain a signal to figure out a way to fail.

So even though you may think you have lots of evidence that you are at the effect end of the cause and effect spectrum, you are actually at cause. Even if you find this hard to believe, begin to act "as if" you really are at cause. Assume that you are in control, and ask "How can I?" until you get the answer.

So now you have two huge clues to success. The first is to focus your mind on what you want, not on what you don't want or are afraid of. The second is to begin with the assumption that you are at cause, that you can decide what to think, what to picture inside, and what to focus your mind on - and that when you do this, you brain will figure out how to make whatever you focus on happen.

I want you to know that if you do these two things, you will change your life in ways you never thought possible.

So there are two things you can do to take change of your life. One is relatively passive, and that is to faithfully use your < snip > everyday. The other is to begin to look at the basic assumptions you've made about yourself and where you fit in the world, and to be willing, despite what may appear to be true for you, to adopt the assumptions of those who are already creating what they want.

Two of these basics are:

1. focus on what you want, and
2. realize that you DO have creative control over what happens to you.

And, if you take the online version of the < snip > , I will go into this subject with you in much more detail, and make sure you "get it."

Once you know a few key things, life becomes much easier and much smoother. You can do this, I promise!

This is why < snip > is so powerful in changing lives - it calms the part of us that is afraid, that feels unsafe. Another way to say this is that it raises your threshold for what you can handle coming at you from the world. < snip > clears your mind, and gets rid of the impulse to focus on what you don't want. Then, it strengthens your ability to focus on what you do want, which allows you to more powerfully and more quickly create it. "

Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote

" You don't have to worry about what their vibration is if your vibration is one of connection. Because if your vibration is one of connection -- you're going to dominate the vibration. This is the way you learn your relationships. The thing that most people do not understand, is that you get to control the way you feel, because you get to choose the thoughts you think. Most people think that they only have the option of responding to the circumstances that surround them. And that's what makes them attempt the impossible, which is to control the circumstances around them, which only feeds their feeling of frustration and vulnerability, because it doesn't take very much life experience to discover you can't control all of those circumstances. But you can control your vibration. And when you control your vibration, you've controlled everything that has anything to do with you. "
______

" Everyone doesn't have to be the same. Most say, "Well, it's so much easier if we're all the same." And we say, it is not easier when you're all the same; conformity is the thing that thwarts you most. That massive wanting to get you to conform-to all think the same way and want the same things-is what is causing the revolt that is happening within you. You are determined to be freedom-seekers in a Mass Consciousness society that is determined to make you the same.  "
__________

" If you intend to be of assistance, your eye is not upon the trouble but upon the assistance, and that is quite different. When you are looking for a solution, you are feeling positive emotion- but when you are looking at a problem, you are feeling negative emotion. "
_________

" All the resources you will ever want or need are at your fingertips. All you have to do is identify what you want to do with it, and then practice the feeling-place of what it will feel like when that happens. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have. You are blessed Beings; you have come forth into this physical environment to create. There is nothing holding you back, other than your own contradictory thought. And your emotion tells you you're doing that. Life is supposed to be fun-it is supposed to feel good! You are powerful Creators and right on schedule. Savor more; fix less. Laugh more; cry less. Anticipate positively more; anticipate negatively less. Nothing is more important than that you feel good. Just practice that and watch what happens. There is great love here for you. We are complete. "

"The Law of Attraction Made Simple
By Valerie Dawson   August 29th, 2008

Source Dream Manifesto

"The basic principles to the law of attraction are simple. If you can follow these and be completely honest about these steps you will be able to manifest what you want.

The law of attraction is base in the law of the universe in which you are the creator of your reality. You have created everything in your reality including your eggshell of limitations.

What is the Law of Attraction/Vibration?
It is the vibration in which you are flowing. Vibrations are energy and everything is made up of energy. Everything is vibrating, if it where to cease vibrating it would cease to exist. This energy flows in positive and negative polarities. The idea is to flow in the positive and thus you will attract more positive.

Concepts to the law and why?
If you have read any books or watched any films on the law of attraction it will cover certain things that are a must do. Some will cover in depth on the why but for the most part it almost seems like a trade secret. I will explain some of the concepts and the ‘why’ behind it.

The Secret to Gratitude
Feeling gratitude for what you have is supposed to help you in the process because you are giving thanks for the things that you have. It will help you get yourself to a place of acceptance of new things to come into your life. Be grateful for what you have and feel positive for and you will attract more positive.

The secret to gratitude is the feelings associated with being grateful. It is not the words you use but the feelings behind the act. You could be grateful for ‘anything’ it is the feeling that you are vibrating in that matters. Focus on anything that brings you happiness and allow yourself a good feeling of total gratitude. The next time you are eating a delicious sandwich, enjoy it and flow in that positive feeling of gratitude.

The Secret to Visualizing
The idea is to picture yourself owning or having what ever it is you want. You should visualize and pretend that it is yours already and this will help you manifest it in your life.

Visualizing and pretending that you have it already and placing yourself in that moment emits a vibration of have. This is the secret to visualizing something, eliminate the want and see it as something that is already yours. The problem is that we will hinder our own thought by thinking of the lack. You do not lack it if you understand that it is yours already.

The Secret to Asking
You are supposed to ask for what you want. You can look at something or a situation and say “I want that.” And in asking you begin the first process of manifesting.

The secret is to be very clear on what it is you want. It is a good idea to determine what it is you do not want in order to make your want clear. There is also no need to speak it out loud or even make it a declaration. That is putting too much focus on the words. The moment you have a feeling of want, that vibration is where you are flowing. That is a vibration of lack, so you will turn it around with the next two steps.

The Secret to Believing
This is where you believe that it is on its way to you. You know that it will be yours as if you ordered it from a catalog. The idea is to believe that it will show up soon.

The secret to this step is in acknowledging the process in which these steps are associated. The feeling behind the first step was lack, feeling behind this step is “it is on its way” this is monumental. Pay attention to the way you feel about it coming to you, it is a matter of knowing that it is right around the corner.

The Secret to Receiving
This is the step in which you allow it to arrive. In which you are ready for it to get there. Your actions are inline with what is on its way to you.

The secret here is to associate it with the other two steps. First step is associated with lack feelings. The next step is associated with “it’s on its way”. The last step is “It’s mine”. It would be like knowing that you are getting a check on Friday, you live every aspect of your life in accordance of your paycheck arriving on Friday. You have no doubt in your mind and you make plans and get ready for it. This is the same feeling that should be associated with receiving what you asked for.

The last step is the one that determines how quickly it manifests in your life. If you were able to get yourself to a place of absolute doubtless faith it would come immediately.  "

And the Universe will respond to my vibration. And then I'll stand in a new place where a whole new batch of yeses are available, and I'll say yes to this, and yes to this, and yes to this." You did not say, "I'll go forth and struggle into joy", because from your Nonphysical Perspective you know it is vibrationally not possible. You cannot struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy that good things come. "

Obama's actual citizenship questioned in lawsuit

Interesting.  Bold emphasis mine for speed scanners.

"Obama Sued in Philadelphia Federal Court on Grounds he is Constitutionally Ineligible for the Presidency

by Jeff Schreiber
America's Right.com

"A prominent Philadelphia attorney and Hillary Clinton supporter filed suit this afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission. The action seeks an injunction preventing the senator from continuing his candidacy and a court order enjoining the DNC from nominating him next week, all on grounds that Sen. Obama is constitutionally ineligible to run for and hold the office of President of the United States.

Philip Berg, the filing attorney, is a former gubernatorial and senatorial candidate, former chair of the Democratic Party in Montgomery (PA) County, former member of the Democratic State Committee, and former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. According to Berg, he filed the suit--just days before the DNC is to hold its nominating convention in Denver--for the health of the Democratic Party.

"I filed this action at this time," Berg stated, "to avoid the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated.".

Berg cited a number of unanswered questions regarding the Illinois senator's background, and in today's lawsuit maintained that Sen. Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen or that, if he ever was, he lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia. Berg also cites what he calls "dual loyalties" due to his citizenship and ties with Kenya and Indonesia.

Even if Sen. Obama can prove his U.S. citizenship, Berg stated, citing the senator's use of a birth certificate from the state of Hawaii verified as a forgery by three independent document forensic experts, the issue of "multi-citizenship with responsibilities owed to and allegiance to other countries" remains on the table.

In the lawsuit, Berg states that Sen. Obama was born in Kenya, and not in Hawaii as the senator maintains. Before giving birth, according to the lawsuit, Obama's mother traveled to Kenya with his father but was prevented from flying back to Hawaii because of the late stage of her pregnancy, "apparently a normal restriction to avoid births during a flight." As Sen. Obama's own paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister have also claimed, Berg maintains that Stanley Ann Dunham--Obama's mother--gave birth to little Barack in Kenya and subsequently flew to Hawaii to register the birth.

Berg cites inconsistent accounts of Sen. Obama's birth, including reports that he was born at two separate hospitals--Kapiolani Hospital and Queens Hospital--in Honolulu, as well a profound lack of birthing records for Stanley Ann Dunham, though simple "registry of birth" records for Barack Obama are available in a Hawaiian public records office.

Should Sen. Obama truly have been born in Kenya, Berg writes, the laws on the books at the time of his birth hold that U.S. citizenship may only pass to a child born overseas to a U.S. citizen parent and non- citizen parent if the former was at least 19 years of age.  Sen. Obama's mother was only 18 at the time. Therefore, because U.S. citizenship could not legally be passed on to him, Obama could not be registered as a "natural born" citizen and would therefore be ineligible to seek the presidency pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution.

Moreover, even if Sen. Obama could have somehow been deemed "natural born," that citizenship was lost in or around 1967 when he and his mother took up residency in Indonesia, where Stanley Ann Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen. Berg also states that he possesses copies of Sen. Obama's registration to Fransiskus Assisi School In Jakarta, Indonesia which clearly show that he was registered under the name "Barry Soetoro" and his citizenship listed as Indonesian.

The Hawaiian birth certificate, Berg says, is a forgery. In the suit, the attorney states that the birth certificate on record is a forgery, has been identified as such by three independent document forensic experts, and actually belonged to Maya Kasandra Soetoro, Sen. Obama's half-sister.

"Voters donated money, goods and services to elect a nominee and were defrauded by Sen. Obama's lies and obfuscations," Berg stated. "If the DNC officers ... had performed one ounce of due diligence we would not find ourselves in this emergency predicament, one week away from making a person the nominee who has lost their citizenship as a child and failed to even perform the basic steps of regaining citizenship as prescribed by constitutional laws."

"It is unfair to the country," he continued, "for candidates of either party to become the nominee when there is any question of the ability to serve if elected."

Internet use cap

Our local consumer advocate Clark Howard, clarkhoward.com talked about this proposal on his call in radio shows.  Seems like poor infrastructure planning on their part.  Was told by a cable guy AT&T is considering same on DSL.

" Comcast to make monthly Internet use cap official

Comcast to set official limit on Internet use to deter bandwidth hogs

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comcast Corp., the nation's second-largest Internet service provider, Thursday said it would set an official limit on the amount of data subscribers can download and upload each month.

On Oct. 1, the cable company will update its user agreement to say that users will be allowed 250 gigabytes of traffic per month, the company announced on its Web site.

Comcast has already reserved the right to cut off subscribers who use too much bandwidth each month, without specifying exactly what constitutes excessive use.

"We've listened to feedback from our customers who asked that we provide a specific threshold for data usage and this would help them understand the amount of usage that would qualify as excessive," the company said in a statement on its Web site.   ..............."

" .............. Comcast floated the idea of a 250 gigabyte cap in May and mentioned then that it might charge users $15 for every 10 gigabytes they go over, but the overage fee was missing in Thursday's announcement. ......."

"10 Keys to Manifesting Wealth

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!!!  Big Grin Angel

"10 Keys to Manifesting Wealth

By Debbie Friedman  August 15th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

" Every day in every way we are manifesting the reality of the life that we see around us.  Whether we know it or not, whether we like it or not, everything in our life is created by what we think, say, and do.

In the years I have worked with individuals and groups to manifest the life of their dreams with ease, I have come to realize that there are 10 keys that consistently make a difference in successfully and joyfully creating in an effortless flow.

An important foundation to becoming a conscious creator is to recognize that it all begins within you.  Your thoughts create your emotions, your emotions lead to the actions you take, and the actions you take effect the results that you see in your life.

Another essential idea is to realize that you do NOT have to do this alone!  Our lives are designed to work in harmony, like a symphony, with the powerful creative forces of the Universe that are literally standing by to delight and excite us!  As you become clear on what you choose, set your intentions, focus your attention, visualize what you choose as if it has already occurred, expect your desires to be full and fulfilled, express gratitude, and move forward to take the appropriate actions in your life, you are forever free from the habits of worry, doubt, and fear.

When you tap into the power of the Universe to support and assist you in creating the life of your dreams, you almost immediately begin to experience the magic and the miracles of life and living!

Here are 10 keys that will support you in consciously creating the life you love to live:

1. Choose a Higher Power that absolutely and completely LOVES and ADORES you, that always has your best interests at heart, and that wants you to enjoy all the riches of this life.

2. Choose powerfully and positively to create a road map for your success.  Create a vivid vision of what you choose to move towards, rather than what you want to move away from.  Be definite, clear, and specific.

3. Maintain a prosperity consciousness each and every day.  Do not allow thoughts of lack, limitation, or competition to enter into your mind.  Allow only the truth that there is limitless abundance in the Universe for everyone, including you!

4. Create and reinforce powerful, positive, supportive beliefs every day in what you think, say, and do.

5. Stay focused on your vision of what you know to be the truth.  What you focus on expands.  Where you place your attention is where you set your intention.

6. When you choose a financial truth, always state "at least" or "or more".  For example, "I am now earning $10,000 or more each month in passive income."  When you choose a material truth, always say "or better".  For example, "I am now driving my cherry red Mercedes-Benz 500SL with cream-colored interior or better".  Stay open to the limitless abundance of the Universe!

7. Be open to receiving in every area of your life.  Expect the gifts, the miracles, and the magic. Expand and open more to joy, love and abundance.

8. Indulge yourself in gratitude for every thing in your life.  Every experience, every relationship, every penny in the street is a gift.  Acknowledge the gifts and the blessings that are showered on you each and every day.

9. Be generous with yourself and others!  What you give is always returned to you multiplied, and this is a confirmation to the Universe that you are ready, willing and able to receive.

10. Be present for the present.  When you're in the past, you're in guilt and regret.  When you're in the future, you're in fear.   When you're present in the present, you have the choice to create limitless wealth and abundance.

Make a commitment each day to your great wealth and success, and living a life that is full of rich, wonderful, loving, fun, healthy, abundant experiences! "

Many tell us that they are so busy making their money that they do not have time to enjoy it . . . for when you rely on your action to create, often you are too tired to enjoy your creation. Once you not only understand the power of your thought, but you deliberately direct this powerful tool in the direction of things that you desire, then you will discover that the action part of your life is the way you enjoy what you have created through your thought. "

"  The Physical Me Is Materialized Spirit. . .

Some say that you should not want money at all because the desire for money is materialistic and not Spiritual. But we want you to remember that you are here in this very physical world where Spirit has materialized. You cannot separate yourself from the aspect of yourself that is Spiritual, and while you are here in these bodies, you cannot separate yourselves from that which is physical or material. All of the magnificent things of a physical nature that are surrounding you are Spiritual in nature. "

"Why is it that some people in life are always successful at whatever they set out to do, whereas others get left behind struggling in dead end jobs or unhappy life situations?  The truth is success isn't something that just happens to people.  It isn't a question of being lucky.  People don't just stumble on a million dollars.

The majority of successful people have several key traits in common that guarantee they achieve their dreams.  They have discovered the secrets to creating the life they want, secrets which anyone can implement to create the future they desire. For them, there is no other reality than their goals coming to fruition - pure and simply they ARE a success because they actively project it in every part of their being.

Success Secret One: Set your goals
Setting and writing down goals is like creating a map to your dream destination. You have never lived this life before, you don't know where it will take you, what is going to happen or what lessons you have yet to learn.  But by creating your own goal map you will achieve a sense of direction and a pathway taking you where you want to go.

Goal setting is one of the most essential ingredients for success.  Without it your life will end up drifting with the current, even going round in circles or leading you to places you don't want to be.  By writing down your goals in an achievable and positive way, you can become truly aware and conscious of where you are going and force your subconscious mind to accept those goals as if they are already reality.

Success Secret Two: Project positivity
Understanding the Law of Attraction is essential for anyone hoping to manifest their dreams.  What this universal law means is that everything that's happening in your life right now, as well as what's still to come, you are attracting to you.  The images and thoughts you project in your conscious mind over and over on a daily basis eventually reach your subconscious mind and attract the situations and events to you that create that reality.

Constant negative and pessimistic thoughts such as, I am going to miss out on that promotion, my boss hates me, no one will believe in me, my wife is cheating on me, end up filtering into your subconscious mind and attract the events that cause that reality.  It's important to reframe your being and continually project positivity to ensure what you truly desire comes to you.

Success Secret Three: Visualize your success
Your mind is a powerful instrument which connects you to your higher self and all the creative forces of the universe.  By spending time every day visualizing yourself your future, when your dreams and goals have become a reality, you can make your subconscious mind believe that reality is fact.  Positive visualization also prevents negativity about your goals from creeping into your mind and stops you from being knocked off your goal path.

When you take time out for visualization, it's important to create a mental picture that includes every little detail - use every sense to feel, taste, smell, see and hear what is going on around you.  Imagine walking through the front door of your new house, looking around you, smelling the luxurious furniture and hearing the peace and tranquillity of the location.  Or sitting in the board room as director of your own company, seeing all your colleagues around you, smelling the coffee your assistant is pouring.   By spending at least 15 minutes every day creating positive images in this way will keep you on the path to success and create the reality you've always dreamed of.

Success Secret Four: Never give up... even when times are tough!
For the most successful people on the planet, failure is not an option.  When times are hard, it's tempting to change your goals or give up completely, with feelings that the world is against you or there is some obstacle or person getting in your way.  It's time to stop playing the victim and take responsibility for your own life.  Wallowing in bad times is the worst move you can make.

It's during the tough times that real achievers show their true colours, because of their unwillingness to give up and their hard work and sheer determination.  This persistence drives them on through the storm, keeps them afloat as the huge waves of the stormy sea try to drag them under.  It is this persistence which allows them to keep their goals in sight.  Constant positive goal affirmation is what keeps them on a path to success and proves to be a life raft during the most challenging times.

Success Secret Five: Don't be afraid to be different!
Successful people are true to themselves, unafraid to break the mould and believe in who and what they are.  Throughout our lives, we will hear time and again, that's not how things are done, or no one will understand or believe in your idea!  Did that stop the likes of Henry Ford or Coco Chanel?

Chanel was a pioneering French designer, named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of all time.  She dared to be different and this ended up being the secret of her success.  She once said, "people laughed at the way I dressed.  I didn't look like anyone... but in order to be irreplaceable one must always be different."  It was with her cutting edge and unique designs enabled her to create one of the most successful fashion houses in history and one of the world's most recognisable brands.

In the same way, you too can find your own success by discovering who you are and what you are good at.  There's no point deciding to be a top medical doctor if you can't understand or don't like human anatomy.  Take time out for self reflection and think about what skills and traits you have that make you truly unique.  "

Part II "How to Think Like a Millionaire - Part II

"  How to Think Like a Millionaire - Part II
By M. Fisher & M. Allen    August 7th, 2008

Source Dream Manifesto

"What do most people do when they need money? Some borrow, and get deeper in debt. Others tighten their belts and adapt their needs to their meager income. Instead of challenging themselves and their world to fulfill their dreams, most people limit their dreams to their perceptions of the world's constraints. They have a passive, wait-and-see attitude - "Let's see if this miracle happens." And, most often, it doesn't happen.

Our Lives Reflect Our Beliefs - Unlimited Success Comes from an Unlimited Belief System
To improve your financial situation, to track down a job, to get a raise in your salary, to double your income, to become fit and healthy, you have to passionately want to improve your life. You have to take action, adopt precise measures, and change your attitude.

This has to become a fixed objective. This overriding desire is mandatory to create the life you want. Determination and will are all the strength you need. Kazuo Inamori, CEO of Kyocera International and author of A Passion for Success, puts it this way:

An entrepreneur must first have a clear vision of what he or she wants. A mere dream of what you want is not adequate. Instead, cultivate a desire so strong and a vision so clear that they become part of your subconscious mind.

So many people honestly desire to improve their lives but still fail in their attempts to become successful. The reason is that they have mistaken wishing for wanting. Wishful thinking is far more common than really wanting something. A wish is weak, changeable, and passive. It's not strong enough to overcome procrastination or other obstacles that may arise in the process of getting what you want. Really wanting something is a spur to action. It does not tolerate delays. It bypasses obstacles. It gives us wings to fly.

One day a wise man was asked by a disciple what it took to obtain wisdom. The sage led the disciple to a river and plunged his head underwater. After a few seconds, his anxious follower began struggling, afraid he was going to drown. But the teacher continued to hold his head underwater. The student struggled even harder.

Finally, the wise man let him go just before he would have drowned and asked him, "When your head was underwater, what did you want most?" "To breathe," the frightened boy answered. "Well, there you have it. That's exactly how much you must want wisdom." And for those of us seeking to improve our lives, that's how much we must want success.

Life gives you what you sincerely want. James Allen wrote in his classic work As You Think, "If you cherish a vision, a lofty ideal in your heart, you will realize it....You will become as great as your dominant aspiration." If you content yourself with mediocrity, that is what you will have.

Since you're reading this book, you're probably not completely satisfied with your situation. But this dissatisfaction is a gift, as there is something intensely motivating about dissatisfaction: it fuels dreams. As we mentioned before, many successful people had difficult, impoverished childhoods. They felt humiliated. Their desire to rise above poverty and low social status was so intense that it propelled them toward their dreams.

It is important to bear in mind, however, that even if you have high aspirations, you will still encounter obstacles. "Even with such strong desires, circumstances will change..." Inamori says. "Still, do not use these circumstances as excuses. Your determination should be so strong as to overcome any obstacles, foreseen or unforeseen."

The dreams you carry and nourish in your heart are your most noble part. Those who stop dreaming, those who ignore their most intense yearnings are living a life of emptiness and frustration. Don't let this happen to you. Change your life by daring to let yourself be carried away by your dreams and to live out your dreams to the fullest.

This philosophy may appear naive - it is. Without naivete, without the innocence of dreams, nothing great would have been created in this world. Humans would not fly; epic films would not have been made; Ford wouldn't have created the mass-produced automobile; Edison wouldn't have lit the world. A serious outlook, cynicism, and even strictly rational thought are great obstacles to success.

We aren't arguing in favor of extravagant, irrational behavior. Far from it! The truth is: At the root of every great discovery and exceptional success story lies a dream, an aspiration, a desire. This desire transcends cynicism and strictly rational thought.

Within your deepest desires and highest dreams are the keys to your success.

Summary and Recommended Action
To sum up this first chapter, there are four initial conditions to fulfill in order to become successful:

1. Believe you will be successful.
The first prerequisite is having faith, believing that you can attain success, believing in yourself. This belief can be created by using self-suggestion to change your old programming. If you don't believe in yourself or your ideas, you'll never convince anyone else to believe in them. Success never comes out of the blue, handed to you on a silver platter. The obstacles you'll have to overcome, the difficulties you'll inevitably meet, and the sustained effort you need to make all require a good dose of faith to spur you on.

2. Be aware that your situation will not magically change if you do nothing about it.
Set a clear goal, and take whatever steps you can each week to move a little closer to the goal. Great success is the result of a great many small steps. It doesn't require taking huge, scary leaps; it only requires taking the next obvious step in front of you.

3. Passionately desire to improve your life.
Make a list of the excuses and the inner monologues that keep success at bay. This stage is absolutely essential. It makes you aware of your limiting beliefs. Once you know them, you can overcome them. Successful people have learned to release doubt from their minds. They have tremendous faith in both themselves and in their plans, despite any opposition they may face.

4. Dare to dream - and to dream great dreams.
Within your deepest desires and highest dreams are the keys to success. Your subconscious mind knows only those limitations you have imposed upon it through your own limiting beliefs - and those beliefs can be changed, using the tools in this book.  "

"  I Follow the Trails of Good-Feeling Thoughts

Most people have put anything that earns money in the category of the things that I have to do. And that is why the money often comes so hard.

If you are wise enough to follow the trail of good-feeling thoughts by deliberately looking for positive aspects along your way, you will come into vibrational alignment with who-you-really-are and with the things you really want, and once you do that, the Universe must deliver to you a viable means to achieve your desires. "
_____________

"  Appreciation and Love Are Identical Vibrations. . .

Love and appreciation are identical vibrations. Appreciation is the vibration of alignment with who-you-are. Appreciation is the absence of everything that feels bad and the presence of everything that feels good. When you focus upon what you want-when you tell the story of how you want your life to be-you will come closer and closer to the vicinity of appreciation, and when you reach it, it will pull you toward all things that you consider to be good in a very powerful way.  "
_________

"  In My Appreciation I Allow Myself to Receive Wonderful Things. . ..

The best way to accomplish an improved environment is to focus upon the best things about where you currently are until you flood your own vibrational patterns of thought with appreciation, and in that changed vibration, you can then allow the new-and-improved conditions and circumstances to come into your experience.

Look for good things about where you are, and in your state of appreciation, you lift all self-imposed limitations (and all limitations are self-imposed) and you free yourself for the receiving of wonderful things.  "
_________

"  I Can Transform My Own World for Me. . .

Make lists of positive aspects. Make lists of things you love-and never complain about anything. And as you use those things that shine bright and make you feel good as your excuse to give your attention and be who-you-are, you will tune to who-you-are, and the whole world will begin to transform before your eyes. It is not your job to transform the world for others-but it is your job to transform it for you. A state of appreciation is pure Connection to Source where there is no perception of lack.  "
_______

"  Appreciation and Gratitude Are Different Vibrational States. . .

When you feel gratitude, often you are looking at a difficulty that you have overcome, but there is still some of that "struggle" vibration present. The state of appreciation is seeing whatever you are looking at through the eyes of Source. . . You could walk down a crowded street with all kinds of things that a lot of other people would find reason to criticize or worry about, and you would not have access to them because your vibration of appreciation is picking out for you things of a different vibrational nature.  "

"How to Think Like a Millionaire

"How to Think Like a Millionaire

By M. Fisher & M. Allen August 5th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

" Socrates, the Greek philosopher, was profoundly aware of the weakness in his own nature. Yet he came to realize that people are evolving beings, capable of changing and growing toward an ideal. People can always improve themselves.

That is part of our greatness. And that ability to improve ourselves can develop at any moment in life.

Believe You Can Be Successful
You have to believe you can be successful before you will ever succeed. Sounds like a cliché, doesn't it? But take time to stop and think about it. Where else can you begin? Your beliefs create your life experience - it's not the other way around. And no matter what you believed before, you can change your beliefs and change your life. It's impossible to create success without believing - deeply - that you are capable of being successful.

It's impossible to live abundantly without believing that you deserve abundance. Our education, society, and other forms of mental conditioning are all, unfortunately, more pessimistic than optimistic. How often has someone told you not to waste your time on pipe dreams, that you have to be realistic, that you can't have what you want? Because we hear this so often and, as a result, believe it to be true, wealth always seems reserved for the fortunate few. Success seems an exclusive party to which we are cordially not invited.

But this is simply not true. If success and prosperity are an exclusive club, it's because they are so in the minds of people whose attitudes bar their own entry. Every successful person at some point came to believe that one day he or she would be successful.

Your beliefs about success are, no doubt, deeply ingrained, and you have to be open to changing them before you'll ever succeed. Examine your beliefs to see how they have affected your life. Many people needlessly sabotage themselves because of unexamined "core beliefs" about how the world operates. Marc Allen sums it up in Visionary Business:

It's important - in some cases critically important - to regularly take time to examine our lives. The first thing to do is to take a look at our past - as clearly and honestly as we can - and discover the important events and influences that have shaped our lives....Some of these shaping events have led to very good core beliefs - and those moments should be remembered, and those beliefs should be encouraged and supported.

All of us have had someone in our lives who saw our potential and supported us in one way or another. We've all had glimpses of our genius, as children, and we've all had other forces that have sought to crush our genius, through doubt, through cynicism, through lack of faith.

We need to reflect on these things occasionally.

Those shaping moments that have had a negative impact on us need to be looked at, and we need to discover the negative core beliefs we formed as a result. Once those beliefs are identified, they can be let go of. Because they aren't true - they're simply self-fulfilling things that become true if we believe them. This is the process of becoming conscious - becoming aware of the forces that drive us, and learning how to act on those forces, how to shape our destiny, how to become powerful. How to achieve what we want in life.

What Are Your Beliefs About Success?
Don't be afraid to analyze your thoughts more closely; you may be surprised at the barriers you have put between yourself and success, once you think about it. When you realize that you can change even your most deeply held beliefs, you can come to see that not only is it possible for you to become as successful as you would like - in all areas of your life - but also that it's easy, much easier than you have ever dreamed possible.

In fact, dozens of opportunities appear to you every day. Profitable ideas flash through your mind, but you usually let them slip away without pursuing them with concrete action. The art of self-suggestion, which is discussed throughout this book, helps you discover how to develop your powers of intuition - the sixth sense for success. You already have these qualities, but you may not be fully aware of their existence. You only need to access them - and you can, quite easily.

Succeeding Is No Harder than Failing
For most people, failure has become a way of life. Failure is a hard habit to break; after all, our social climate has given us high expectations, but our social conditioning has given us low morale. It's a vicious cycle. In order to become successful, we have to understand that success is basically no more difficult than failure. It's simply based on a different kind of mental programming, one to which the subconscious mind is not inherently opposed.

Doesn't every failure involve a highly complex combination of circumstances? Consider what it takes to miss perfect opportunities, to misfire every time you attempt something, to avoid meeting the people who can help you on your path of success, to dismiss your ideas as useless when they could lead to something worthwhile, and to continually repeat the motions that lead to defeat.

It's quite an achievement to fail, and yet the subconscious mind accepts defeat as natural. Throughout this book, we analyze the vital role the subconscious plays in manifesting success. When we understand how to get the power of our subconscious mind working on success rather than failure, we will succeed. It is inevitable.

We create all sorts of excuses to block our success. How many of these thoughts creep into your mind?

Everything was much easier in the good old days.
This excuse is proven wrong every single day of the year. While negative, shortsighted people drone on about unemployment, downsizing, and outsourcing, thousands of small businesses start and flourish every year. Thousands - globally, millions - of people become millionaires each year! Think of the movies produced, the books published, the new opportunities in computer science and Internet media! Think of the parts of the world that are opening to free trade! Becoming successful is not only possible today; it's actually easier than it used to be. The entire world is ours to offer our new ideas, products, services - whatever gift we have to give. Success depends far less on outside circumstances than on our mental attitude, our beliefs about ourselves and the world.

I'm too young.
Tell this to Debbie Fields, founder and owner of Mrs. Fields Cookies, who was in her twenties when she achieved success, or Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computers, who made his first million when he was twenty-three, his first ten million at twenty-four, and his first hundred million at twenty-five. There is an old saying: "A youth with a single aim in life arrives early at the harvest." Youth is more often than not an asset. Lack of experience can be compensated for by boldness, daring, instinct, and originality. History shows that most successful people started out completely inexperienced and learned as they went along.

I'm too old.
Colonel Sanders and Georgia O'Keeffe would disagree. Napoleon Hill's survey of the wealthy showed that many successful people don't reach their goals until midlife and beyond. It could be that this is the time of reaping the benefits of a series of earlier efforts, while many others are thinking of retirement. Work does not kill. Idleness, on the other hand, is often deadly; people who take early retirement often die younger than those who keep working. The fact remains that many people begin a second or third career, sometimes the most successful of all, late in life. Age is irrelevant. Your years of experience, even if you have failed, are priceless to you.

I have no capital.
Most people don't, in the beginning. Money isn't essential when we start out. A good creative idea or business idea and a positive mental outlook are essential. Everyone in the world has at least one talent, one passion, one hobby that can become profitable if applied correctly. Contrary to popular belief, there is no shortage of money in the world. The money for launching ideas and furthering good in our world is always available.

Poverty seems to be a tradition in far too many families, an inherited trait like the color of one's hair or eyes, passed down from generation to generation. It's often more difficult for people whose families have always been poor to imagine that one day they can become rich. The image we get of ourselves and of life in general is often tinged with hopelessness and pessimism, and the role models that surround us are not always very inspiring. But there are so many exceptions to this - look at Charlie Chaplin, for example, one of history's wealthiest actors. He spent his youth in poverty, wandering the streets of London. The humiliation of poverty and early contact with life's harsh realities have in many cases spurred people on to great achievement.

I'm not educated.
Thomas Edison left school before the age of sixteen. Microsoft's Bill Gates is a college dropout. Even though many successful people weren't educated
in the formal sense, they did acquire an in-depth knowledge of the industry in which they made their fortunes.

I don't have any special talent.
Many successful people displayed no early signs of being destined for fame, fortune, and fulfillment.
J. Paul Getty said, "I most certainly was not a born businessman." Many people talk themselves into believing that they don't have an inborn talent or what it takes to change their lives. They go to great lengths to justify their lack of success. But in reality, everyone in the world has some talent, some kind of gift. Once we discover our own unique gift, it becomes our purpose to develop it, and doing so leads to our success.

I don't have the energy it takes.
There is often an important difference between those who succeed and those who fail: their levels of energy. Every action we take requires a minimum amount of energy, especially mental or psychic energy. Low vitality inevitably breeds low motivation. This appears to be another inescapable vicious cycle. But all it takes is a tiny spark to ignite the resources of energy that lie dormant within us. The potential energy we all have is enormous. In many people, it is hibernating, waiting to be activated.

Yet at the same time, it takes much more energy to do something we don't like than something we enjoy. Think of the energy you have and how time slips away when you're absorbed in your favorite project. When we do what truly interests and motivates us, the energy flows easily and effortlessly.

I'm afraid of failure.
We're born with two fears: falling and loud noises. All other fears are acquired. Unfortunately, the fear of failure is powerful and widespread - and it is paralyzing. Often deeply embedded within us, it results from past failures, from a lack of confidence bred unknowingly by our parents, and it's enforced by society's general negative, short-sighted thinking.

The fear of failure is sometimes expressed overtly but is most often unconscious and subtly disguised. People don't admit they're afraid of failing; instead, they denigrate others for building castles in the air, and they scorn dreams and creative ideas. They're champion excuse-makers: family obligations, problems, lack of time, lack of money. But wouldn't the family prefer a spouse or parent who is content with his or her work? Wouldn't time be better spent in creative expression? Wouldn't creating fulfillment resolve many problems?

Then there are the "if only" people: If only their boss would notice them....If only they could come up with a good idea....If only they had more talent, ability, time, money, or luck....If only they had been born in different circumstances, or under another astrological sign....

Obviously, if you never try anything, chances are you will never fail. But then, you're not likely to succeed either. Success doesn't miraculously appear out of the blue. It's always the result of concrete action and a positive mental attitude. Thomas Edison made hundreds - some say thousands - of attempts before perfecting the incandescent lightbulb. Abraham Lincoln lost eighteen elections before becoming president of the United States. We're not singing the praises of failure, but we know through experience that every personal defeat can be an education in itself, at least if it's accepted with an open mind.

All I've done is fail.
One underlying reason for many people's paralyzing fear of failure is that they have already failed, or at least believe they were unsuccessful in the past. Each new setback reinforces this feeling and undermines their self-confidence. People start with one failure and see themselves as losers, and this in turn leads inevitably to more aborted attempts. These failures reinforce their loser mentality, and soon it becomes habitual. They end up believing that life is a series of hard knocks, defeats, struggles, and frustrations.

Why have you failed until now? Maybe you wanted to fail - at least on some level, possibly subconsciously. If the success you're entitled to always slips through your fingers, ask yourself why you've condemned yourself to mediocrity. And reassure yourself that even the strongest, most powerful negative programming can be changed - quickly and completely.

Once you examine it closely, you may be surprised at your inner resistance to success. You may be surprised at your negative inner monologue, which most people relentlessly repeat out of habit. Here's an important point: Your mind is always working for your welfare - it just may be working for a long outmoded goal. For instance, maybe your high energy or enthusiasm for something as a child brought harsh criticism from your parents or siblings. You very quickly learned to be quiet and restrained. But now, as an adult, there's no reason to remain unseen and unheard - yet no one told your subconscious mind.

Look at it this way: Our failures should be seen as stepping-stones that bring us closer to our goal. Our failures give us tremendous feedback. Isn't it true that with each perceived failure we learn something of value? Failure is our way of learning and growing. In reality, there is no such thing as failure: It's just part of our education on the way to our inevitable success - if we look at it that way.

Your situation will not improve if you do nothing about it. Of course, this is obvious. But then why are so many people waiting for their big break, or to win the lottery, or for some other miracle? Most people live with the idea that everything will magically work out. And then comes disappointment. Success isn't handed to us on a silver platter; we have to take action, we have to challenge our old beliefs, and we have to risk failure.

To be continued...  "

"  I'm Always Receiving the Essence of What I'm Giving. . .

Appreciation and love, and alignment to that which is Source, is the ultimate "giving back," so to speak, for in your pain or struggle, you have nothing to give back. What you are living is always an exact replication of your vibrational patterns of thought. Nothing could be more fair than life as you are living it, for as you are thinking, you are vibrating, and as you are vibrating, you are attracting-and so you are always getting back the essence of what you are giving.  "
________

"  Rather Than Complaining, I'll Focus On Positive Aspects. . .

When you focus upon lack in an attitude of complaining, you establish a vibrational point of attraction that then gives you access only to more thoughts of complaint. Your deliberate effort to tell a new story will establish a new pattern of thought, providing you with a new point of attraction from your present, about your past, and into your future. The simple effort of looking for positive aspects will set a new vibrational tone that will begin the immediate attraction of thoughts, people, circumstances, and things that are pleasing to you.  "
_________

"  My What-Is Need Not Influence My What-Is-Becoming. . .

What-is has no bearing on what is coming unless you are continually regurgitating the story of what is. By thinking and speaking more of how you really want your life to be, you allow what you are currently living to be the jumping-off place for so much more. But if you speak predominantly of what-is, then you still jump off-but you jump off into more of the same.  "
_____________

"  My Life Is As Good As I Allow it to Be. . .

Many people focus upon unwanted things, with no deliberate attention to the emotional Guidance within them, and then they try to compensate for their lackful thinking with physical action. And because of the misalignment of Energy, they do not get results from their action, so then they try harder by offering more action, but still things do not improve.

Like the air you breathe, abundance in all things is available to you. Your life will simply be as good as you allow it to be.  "
___________

"  I Can Make a Career of Living Happily Every After. . .

A very good career choice would be to gravitate toward those activities and to embrace those desires that harmonize with your core intentions, which are freedom and growth-and joy. Make a "career" of living a happy life rather than trying to find work that will produce enough income that you can do things with your money that will then make you happy. When feeling happy is of paramount importance to you-and what you do "for a living" makes you happy-you have found the best of all combinations. "

" Wealth Consciousness - The Source of All Abundance

" Wealth Consciousness - The Source of All Abundance

By Deepak Chopra July 20th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

" Affluence, unboundedness, and abundance are our natural state. We just need to restore the memory of what we already know. - Deepak Chopra

Affluence is the experience in which our needs are easily met and our desires spontaneously fulfilled. We feel joy, health, happiness, and vitality in every moment of our existence.

Affluence is reality, and the true purpose of this book is to give us an insight into the nature of reality. When we are grounded in the nature of reality and we also know that this same reality is our own nature, then we realize that we can create anything, because all of material creation has the same origin. Nature goes to the same place to create a cluster of nebulas, a galaxy of stars, a rain forest, or a human body as it goes to create a thought.

All of material creation, everything that we can see, touch, hear, taste, or smell is made from the same stuff and comes from the same source. Experiential knowledge of this fact gives us the ability to fulfill any desire we have, acquire any material object we want, and experience fulfillment and happiness to any extent we aspire.

The principles expressed in this book relate specifically to the creation of unlimited material wealth, but these principles can be applied to fulfill any desire, because they are the same principles that nature uses to create material reality out of a nonmaterial essence.

All of material creation is structured out of information and energy. All quantum events are basically fluctuations of energy and information. And these impulses of energy and information are the nonstuff that make up everything that we consider stuff or matter.

So it becomes clear that not only is the essential stuff of the universe nonstuff, but that it is thinking nonstuff. For what else is a thought but an impulse of energy and information?

We think of thoughts as occurring only in our head, but that is because we experience them as linguistically structured thought that is verbally elite and speaks to us in the English language - in my case, with an Indian accent. But those same impulses of energy and information that we experience as thoughts -those same impulses - are the raw material of the universe.

The only difference between thoughts inside my head and those outside my head is that I experience thoughts inside my head in linguistically structured terms. But before a thought becomes verbal and is experienced as language, it is just an intention. It is, once again, an impulse of energy and information.

In other words, at a preverbal level, all of nature speaks the same language. We are all thinking bodies in a thinking universe. And just as thought projects itself as the molecules of our body, so too the same impulses of energy and information project themselves as space-time events in our environment.

Behind the visible garment of the universe, beyond the mirage of molecules, the maya - or illusion - of physicality, lies an inherently invisible, seamless matrix made up of a nothingness. This invisible nothingness silently orchestrates, instructs, guides, governs, and compels nature to express itself with infinite creativity, infinite abundance, and unfaltering exactitude into a myriad of designs and patterns and forms.

Life experiences are the continuum in this seamless matrix of nothingness, in this continuum of both body and environment. They are our experiences of joy and sorrow, of success and failure, of wealth and poverty. All these events seemingly happen to us, but at very primordial levels we are making them happen.

The impulses of energy and information that create our life experiences are reflected in our attitudes toward life. And our attitudes are an outcome of and expressions of self-engendered impulses of energy and information.  "

"I Can Set My Own Standards for Financial Well-Being. . .

Once you are able to achieve and consistently maintain your personal alignment, a great deal of money will flow into your experience (if that is your desire).

Do not let others set the standards about how much money you should have-or about what you should do with it-for you are the only one who could ever accurately define that. Come into alignment with who-you-really-are, and allow the things that life has helped you to know that you want to flow into your experience. "

" I Can't Tell Stories of Shortage and Experience Abundance. . .

Continuing to tell stories of shortage only continues to contradict your desire for abundance, and you cannot have it both ways: You cannot focus upon unwanted and receive wanted. You cannot focus upon stories about money that make you feel uncomfortable and allow into your experience what makes you feel comfortable. A different story will bring different results: My thoughts are the basis for the attraction of all things that I consider to be good, which includes enough money, and health, for my comfort and joy."
____________

" I Am the Attractor of My Every Experience.

You are meant to live an expansive, exhilarating, good-feeling experience. It was your plan when you made the decision to become focused in your physical body in this time-space reality. You were born knowing that you are a powerful Being; that you are good; that you are the creator of your experience, and that the Law of Attraction (the essence of that which is like unto itself, is drawn) is the basis of the Universe, and you knew it would serve you well. And so it has. "

"How Do You Prevent Your Goals From Becoming Reality?

Even when reading about Feng Shui almost the first thing they say is clear the clutter.   Easier said than done sometimes.   Sun Smiley

"How Do You Prevent Your Goals From Becoming Reality?

By Catherine Jeans July 22nd, 2008

"Imagine trying to climb up a mountain laden with two heavy suitcases, all your belongings wrapped around your neck and a bucket of water perched precariously on your head.  You wouldn't get very far, would you!  That's just what it's like trying to achieve your goals and ambitions weighed down with life clutter.

Whether it's emotional, mental or physical, life clutter gets in the way of our true potential, preventing the clarity required to recognize opportunity as it arises.  It could be emotional baggage from a previous business venture that went wrong and left you feeling like a failure or a comment from childhood when a teacher told you you'd never achieve anything.  Or it could be mental clutter, the daily flood of thoughts about your marriage, job or endless lists of tasks you need to achieve that go round and around in your head.  Or physical clutter could be blocking your potential, from a desk that's full of unfilled papers or three years of back taxes that still haven't been filed or sent off.

Whatever your life clutter, it's important to free yourself of all this baggage.  If you don't, you're limiting the infinite amount of wonderful experiences and events that are waiting just around the corner to enter your life and help you achieve your dreams and maximize your true potential.

Clear Your Physical Space
One of the easiest ways to begin to declutter your life is to work on your physical space.  If you're trying to manifest your goals surrounded by piles of papers, drawers that won't close properly and a mountain of files hidden underneath your desk, this clutter not only impacts on efficiency but can also create mental barriers to your success.  Many people get into the habit of hoarding endless papers, memories and unused items that have no purpose other than holding onto previous experiences.

The key to decluttering your physical space is to pick an area in your office or at home and set a target to deal with the clutter for 20 minutes per day.  The mountains of paperwork may seem like an uphill battle, but by allocating a small amount of time everyday to achieve a clutter free work and personal space, the sense of liberation and freedom will be overwhelming once the job is done.

Buy yourself a shredder to get rid of old bank statements, aged tax forms and files you no longer need.  Recycle all your old appliance manuals for equipment long since replaced.  With the endless hoards of items you no longer use, sit down and ask yourself two questions:  do I actually like these things and do I really need them?

By having a physical cleanse and releasing the clutter of the past, you'll find an immense sense of freedom both mentally and emotionally.

Cleanse Your Mind of Clutter
Two of the prime causes of mental clutter are avoidance and procrastination.  Your brain can become bogged down and your mental capacity restricted with lingering thoughts of endless tasks that need doing but you never complete or even attempt.  As our mind wanders uncontrolled and focuses on everything we have to do and get done, we end up setting unachievable mental lists of jobs that should not be our primary focus.  This constant "mental chatter" can cause tiredness and exhaustion, draining your energy and blocking your path to success.

Added to this there's the endless emotional anguish and pain many of us put ourselves through on a day to day basis.  We deliberate constantly over how our peers perceive us or what our loved ones are thinking, often creating strong mental barriers to seeing our goals clearly.

Clearing out mental and emotional clutter helps to quiet the mind and achieve focus and a sense of calm.  One of the first steps to reaching mental clarity is to write down a short-term goal list every week, setting yourself realistic targets that can be achieved.  Rather than allowing your mind to wander and create ambitious lists of everything that needs doing all at the same time, by setting realistic goals each week you can prioritize the essentials, preventing sleepless nights and endless worrying about the small jobs.  Otherwise if you're constantly stressed this can reduce your productivity and leave you feeling despondent and without direction - not a good mindset for achieving your goals!

Sit down and really think about what actually needs doing.  Do you really need to paint the spare bedroom this week?  Does the shed really need cleaning out today?  Work out what you can realistically achieve and make sure you set aside some time for relaxation and quality time with your loved ones.

Clearing your emotional baggage is a task that requires constant work and even more dedication.  However if you can release yourself from the pain of emotional anguish and constant worrying about what other people think then this creates the space and peace in your mind to focus and dedicate yourself to manifesting the life you truly desire.

One of the first steps to releasing your mind of emotional pain is to analyze the way you think.  Byron Katie is one of the greatest teachers of thought analysis, through her groundbreaking program, The Work.  She believes that if we let our minds wander aimlessly, giving space for unquestioned thoughts to run wild we can never achieve emotional and mental freedom.  Katie's work centers on writing down thoughts that cause stress in our life and questioning whether they are really true.  She focuses on how the way we think about ourselves and others can have such a powerful impact on our manifestations of success.  For example, in her book Question Your Thinking, Change the World she says:

"There is no way you can't have the best business on this planet.  No one stops you but you - that's the only possibility.  Your employees aren't responsible for your success - you are."

Once we take responsibility for our path to success and get rid of our physical, emotional and mental baggage along the way this clears the route to achieving our dreams and removes the barriers that could be preventing our goals from becoming reality. "

Law of Attraction Responds to My Vibration

A belief is nothing more than a chronic pattern of thought, and you have the ability-if you try even a little bit-to begin a new pattern, to tell a new story, to achieve a different vibration, to change your point of attraction. The Law of Attraction is responding to your vibration, and you can easily change your vibrational point of attraction by visualizing the lifestyle you desire and holding your attention upon those images until you begin to feel relief, which will indicate that a true vibrational shift has occurred. "Detachment From Choice - The Secret of Flexibility

Great article, several writers say essentially the same thing to let go of the way something comes to you, also time frame in which it comes.  By doing so things can come in a form much better than we could ever imagine and at a perfect time.  Good luck with your manifestations!!!!

"Detachment From Choice - The Secret of Flexibility

By Enoch Tan July 18th, 2008
Source Dream Manifesto

"Enlightenment is about seeing through the illusions of life and knowing what reality really is. When you are enlightened, you can have everything you want. Because you'll know the truth about what everything is, and what does it really mean to have something. It is an irony of the world that the people who seek material things and desire to have them before thinking about enlightenment, tend to attain neither, but those that acquire enlightenment first are the ones who do. The desireless attain all their desires.

Being desireless is not about having no desire, but it is about having no attachment to desire. Attachment is the cause of all suffering. Suffering is burning emotional energy on the uncontrollable. The more you suffer, the more suffering you attract. Letting go of all attachments is the way to end all suffering. When you are attached, you are in a state of wanting or lacking. When you are detached, you are in a state of being desireless. Enlightenment is about knowing why detachment gets you your desire.

Physical reality is an illusion created by consciousness to rediscover itself. It is an illusion that you do not have what you already want, because you already have all that you desire in spiritual reality. Physical reality is a place for you to manifest anything that you are resonating with from spiritual reality. When you are attached, you are resonating with the spiritual untruth that you do not have your desire. When you are detached, you are resonating with the spiritual truth that you already have your desire.

You free yourself by being emotionally detached from choices. Many people fail to get what they want because they do not free themselves to have it. You trap yourself when you are attached to choices. You think that it has to work a particular way rather than allowing yourself to go another way. Detachment from choices is what gives you true freedom of choice. You are able to choose again in every moment and are free to make a different choice if you will. Detachment from choice is secret of flexibility.

Stock market trading success comes to those who trade in an enlightened way. The masses are emotionally attached to choices and that is why they lose money when they hold on to failing stocks instead of selling them. They also fail to sell when the stock has reached a substantial level of growth because they are attached to seeing it grow forever. The elite traders are not attached to choices but they buy and sell freely in a way that makes them more money than losing it. To be unattached is to be free.

Having the relationships you want also comes from being enlightened. What a woman really wants is an enlightened man. He is a man who realizes his true being as a free spirit. He is free to express himself to her and he is free from being affected by her. Being detached is the attractive quality that makes a man uncontrollable by a lady. Being undefined by external factors is what makes him self assured. He is capable of loving fearlessly and loving without attachment. Enlightened loving is loving like a god.

Those who are enlightened get what they want by benefiting from movement and changes, whether positive or negative. It no longer matters to them whether the stock goes up or down. They have strategies to make money either way. It no longer matters to them whether which person likes or don't like them, or when their partner is happy or unhappy with them. They simply allow themselves to enjoy all the happiness and positive energy they experience from whoever, whenever and however it comes.

Enlightened manifestation of your desires is about getting the essence of what you want and not being attached to the form or channel. Those who are attached to form or channel will suffer more and more, and have less and less self esteem. Whereas those who are not attached will be able to enjoy more and more of the things they like in life, and have more and more self esteem. Those who have more self esteem are more capable of having the success and relationships they want compared to the others.

Freedom from attachment is also the reason why the rich get richer and the happy get happier, while the poor get poorer and the unhappy get unhappier. Having comes from being. When you are being detached, you are resonating with having. When you are being attached, you are resonating with not having. That is why it has always been said that you will finally be able to have what you want when you no longer want it. It does not mean you do not want it, but you are no longer in a state of wanting it.

All that we want is peace and bliss. We think that when we have all the material things we want, we will have peace and bliss. But that is because we don't really know what peace and bliss are. It is peace and bliss that bring us everything else in life. Peace is total transcendence. Bliss is an untouchable happiness. When we transcend all illusions of the material world, we are in a state of peace where we can manifest anything we want. When we have no attachments, we have a happiness that cannot go.

Enlightenment is the key to everything. The unenlightened may ask what enlightenment has got to do with making the money or getting the girl that you want. The answer is everything. When you are enlightened, you realize that it is not about getting this or that, but it is all about knowing what reality is, and who you really are. Then from that space of knowingness and beingness, you are free to create whatever you wish. You're free to play with illusions without being trapped by any, as it is all just a game. "

Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote

" Money Is Not the "Root of Evil" or of Happiness. . .

This important subject of money and financial success is not the "root of all evil" as many have quoted-nor is it the path to happiness. So when you are able to successfully control something like the subject of money that affects most of you all day, every day, you will have accomplished something rather significant-for not only is it certain that your financial success must improve, but the evidence of that success will then prepare you for deliberate improvement in every aspect of your life experience. "
___________

" What Do I Want, and Why Do I Want It. . .?

When you acknowledge what you do not want, and then ask yourself, "What is it that I do want?" you begin a gradual shift into the telling of your new story and into a much-improved point of attraction.

You get the essence of what you think about-whether you want it or not-because Law of Attraction is unerringly consistent-therefore, you are never only telling the story of "how it is now." You are also telling the future experience that you are creating right now. "
______________

" When you are in sync with the Energy of Source, which is the Energy of Well-being, Well-being is your experience. And when you're not you don't feel so good. Everything that you're living is a perfect replica of the vibration of your being.

Excerpted from a workshop in Houston, TX on Saturday, January 5th, 2002

All Is Well "
___________

" I Am the Creator of My Own Life Experience.

You are the creator of your own life experience, and as the creator of your experience, it is important to understand that it is not by virtue of your action, not by virtue of your doing-it is not even by virtue of what you are saying-that you are creating. You are creating by virtue of the thought that you are offering.

You cannot speak or offer action without thought-vibration occurring at the same time; however, you are often offering a thought-vibration without offering words or action. Children or babies learn to mimic the vibration of the adults who surround them long before they learn to mimic their words. "
__________

" I Can Pivot from Feeling Bad to Feeling Good.

As you look for a better-feeling way to approach whatever you are giving your attention to; as you continue to ask yourself, from your ever-changing vantage point, "What is it that I do want?" eventually you will be standing in a very pleasing place-for you cannot continually ask yourself what it is that you do want without your point of attraction beginning to pivot in that direction. . . . The process will be gradual, but your continued application of the process will yield wonderful results in only a few days. "

The clothes line

Came in email.  Am old enough to remember the clothes line .... dry clothes feeling like sandpaper grit on cardboard occasionally decorated with "bird art."  Crying

*The clothes line....a dead give away.  Do the kids today even know
    what  a clothes line is?*

*For all of us who are older, this will bring back the memories.*

    *  THE BASIC RULES*

    *  1. You had to wash the clothes line before hanging any clothes.*
    *  Walk the length of each line with a damp cloth around the line.*

    *  2. You had to hang the clothes in a certain order and always hang*
    * whites with whites and hang them first.*

    *  3. You never hung a shirt by the shoulders, always by the tail.*
    *  What would the neighbors think?*

    *  4.  Wash day on a Monday...........never hang clothes on the
weekend or Sunday for heaven's sake!*

    *  5.  Hang the sheets and towels on the outside lines so you could
hide your 'unmentionables' in the middle.*

    *  6.  It didn't matter if it was sub zero
    weather.............clothes would 'freeze dry.'  *

    *  7.  Always gather the clothes pins when taking down dry clothes.
Pins left on the line was 'tacky'.*

    *  8.  If you were efficient, you would line the clot hes up so that
each item did not need two clothes pins, but shared one of the
clothes pins with the next washed item.*

    * 9.  Clothes off of the line before dinner time, neatly folded in
the clothes basket and ready to be ironed.*

*10.   IRONED??????????    Well, that's a whole other subject.*

    **A POEM**

    *  A clothes line was a news forecast*

    *  To neighbors passing by.*

    *  There were no secrets you could keep*

    *  When clothes were hung to dry.*

It also was a friendly link

    *  For neighbors always knew*

    *  If company had stopped on by*

    *  To spend a night or two.*

    *  For then you'd see the "fancy sheets"*

    *  And towels upon the line;*

    *  You'd see the "company table cloths"*

    *  With intricate design.*

    *  The line announced a baby's birth*

    *  To folks who lived inside*

    *  As brand new infant clothes were hung*

    *  So carefully with pride.*

    *  The ages of the children could*

    *  So readily be known*

    *  By watching how the sizes changed*

    *  You'd know how much they'd grown.*

    *  It also told when illness struck,*

    *  As extra sheets were hung;*

    *  Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe, too,*

    *  Haphazardly were strung.*

    *  It said, "Gone on vacation now"*

    *  When lines hung limp and bare.*

    *  It told, "We're back!" when full lines **_sagged_*

    *  With not an inch to spare.*

    *  New folks in town were scorned upon*

    *  If wash was dingy gray,*

    *  As neighbors carefully raised their brows,*

    *  And looked the other way..*

    *  But clotheslines now are of the past*

    *  For dryers make work less.*

    *  Now what goes on inside a home*

    *  Is anybody's guess.*

    *  I really miss that way of life.*

    *  It was a friendly sign*

    *  When neighbors knew each other best*

    *  By what hung on the line!*
