The President's visit was the best event we've ever been to.

When it was announced on the news our President would be coming to Rochester, MN October 4, I quickly singed on to www.donaldjtrump.com and got tickets to the rally.
This was the first time Ann and I have been to a Presidential public event.
The time leading up to the rally seemed like when I was a kid; anxious, excited and long.
The day before that Thursday, the news was reporting people were already getting in line; that was at 6:00p.
I talked with Ann and we decided to head to the Mayo Civic Center at midnight to get a good place in line.
The weather report said it was going to be near or at freezing that morning, so we dressed in layers with sweat pants under our jeans.
We packed up some camping chairs, a blanket, then headed out to find a good place to park and see how many were already there.
There were not too many there we could see driving by, so I looked for a place to park on the other side of the river.
The parking was a good spot out of the downtown area and avoided the street closures.
It only took about 15 minutes to walk to the Mayo Civic Center.
When we arrived, it was about 1:30a and there were about 7-9 people already in line with extra chairs setup for others.
We met Randal Thom (a.k.a. Front Row Joe) while we were sitting out side the Mayo Civic Center.
He was live streaming very early that morning and found us in line.
The temps got down to 34°F that early morning.
As the night turned in to day, at about 6:00a, things began to pick up.
People arrived and the line started to grow.
News crews were setting up.

By 8:00a, the line was picking up fast.
It was a good sight to see the sun rise and warm feeling on our faces.
By mid morning, the line was out in to the streets and snaked through alleys and at least several other streets.
A large Jumbotron was setup outside for those who could not get in.
Eventually, the the doors opened and everyone moved inside.
We first looked at the upper seats, but rapidly decided to move to the standing area near the stage.
We got a good spot to see our President.
The feeling there was not like anything you could imagine.
It was like being immersed in the Patriot Ether.
Everyone was excited and ready.
We captured a 360 video of the arena about an hour before the President's arrival.
The time had come and our President was in the arena.
It was one of the most exciting moments in my life.
There's a better quality video on facebook.
After the introduction, we listened to a fantastic speech.
Being this close to our President was one those once in a lifetime events, but I hope not, (2020).
In the end, I'd have to say, if you ever get the chance to go to a Trump Rally, Do It.
It's not like anything you see on TV.
Thank you Mr. President.
