Yes, Soledad, this is obviously a very big deal. However, the even bigger deal that more people are noticing is that Trump reached his concession only hours after Roger Stone had been indicted. The clear message here is that even with the FBI foretelling of a major funding shortage, it did not stop them from processing that indictment and picking up Stone. Also, there was absolutely no agreement on any amount for any wall in light of all this. Trump knew he was in a corner, with no help, and did the right thing which now prompts the Dems to negotiate on 'border security' funding comprised of the 'smart wall' as I had already mentioned.

A smart wall does not prevent them from walking into the USA.
Border security funding is to include funding for a wall where needed.

Trump will probably call a national emergency if he doesn't get his WALL funding. I doubt very seriously if he tries the shutdown farce again. Even if he declares a national emergency, it will go to court for months and he will lose. Because he will have to explain why the emergency wasn't declared two years ago.
