Twitter Truther Twits

The 9/11 Truthers were out in force today on Twitter.. "Fire can't melt steel"? Only them and Rosie O'Donnell think so. ("Great minds think alike", y'know) I worked on drilling rigs most of my adult life and survived several blowouts and trust me when I tell you, fire CAN melt steel.

Do I think the govt. covered up *some* things? Yes, I do, but more along the lines of how Saudi Arabia aided the terrorists, or how they tried to downplay our obvious intelligence agency failures and national security shortcomings but do I think explosives were pre-planted in the buildings? No, of course not.  That's absurd. (well, absurd to anyone who possesses an iota of critical thinking)

I hold the same disdain for 9/11 Truthers as I do Holocaust deniers or those who think the Freemasons are trying to take over the world.  If you think that way, then you are a *&^%$&+ idiot.

Well done Mike regarding an unprecedented 9-11 day when war was made upon the USA by some al-Quaida desert rats a.k.a. Muslim terrorists and with the likely aide and abbe-ting, of yet, unidentified allies. I suppose murdering some 3,000 unarmed civilian citizens in in non military towers was their best public relations message to make a good indelible impression on us!

Nation Still in Mourning
There are still consequences to be dealt with when attacking our homeland that will reverberate in the future time to come - it's not over..... :-(

CNN had a news piece remembering the event and said "Airplanes took aim at the Twin Towers and the Pentagon." Well, they did more than take aim, but just like "guns don't kill people, people kill people", those planes were piloted by terrorists.

One of the conspiracy theories that really sets me off is the one that the Masonic Lodge is full of men plotting to take over the world. I came very near to blows with an old friend just a few yrs. ago when he was spouting off all kinds of crap like that. Sheesh, his pop was a Mason, so is my nephew and so was my own dad and one of my childhood friends, too . I know a lot of Masons and they're all good, God fearing men . Good grief, i knew my dad for over half a century and never realized he was part of the Illuminati.

The Holocaust deniers are just people who hate Jews and the existence of Israel, plain and simple.

The thing about conspiracies is that some of them would require hundreds, if not thousands of people to be in on the secret. SMH One prime example of that would be the "faked moon landings". There were just too many people involved in that for at least one to step forward and claim it was all a hoax.   I'm like Buzz Aldrin and if people want to say this crap to my face, then they might very well get a punch in their snotbox . They can go ahead and spout all their BS online for all I care....I don't mind them proclaiming their stupidity to the world.

And "fire can't melt steel". I guess they don't know how steel is made, for cryin' out loud . No, it wasn't like a forge atop those towers, but pour tons of aviation fuel into a confined area like a couple of stories of a tall building and a hot enough fire can be generated to turn steel beams into the consistency of rubber. From then on it was a simple matter of a few hundred thousand pounds of upper floors collapsing onto others, adding to the weight and collapsing other floors as it fell down atop them.

But no, George Bush personally masterminded the entire thing, even though those same people think he was dumb as a rock...why, there were Dick Cheney clones flying those planes! "Halliburton! Halliburton!!" Even though there's video of a plane flying into the Pentagon, it was a missile that did it. Why the Pentagon? Well, some 4-star general was wanting his office re-decorated, that's why.
