Rob Reiner ("Meathead" on Archie Bunker), one of those Hollywood has-been celebs infected with TDS, Tweeted out "Wouldn't it be funny if Trump invited the dog to the White House and it refused to go?"

I replied that unlike him, at least the dog would get an invite and the only thing he and the dog had in common was that they are both S.O.B.'s.

I started to go on with at least the dog served its country and that it was smarter than him, but figured that was enough. My Tweet didn't stay up long enough to get a response from anyone and I might very well wind up in Twitter jail...again.

I have the Pocket feed enabled on my Google page and just read an article about Carrie Fisher. I never disliked her; she was a talented writer, but an actress? Not so much. She had a quick and savage wit, but sometimes so barbed as to be obnoxious. Anyway...there was a bit in the piece about her being told then-candidate Trump was going to be at some place where she was also going to be and being told he "only ogled good looking women" and she replied "One reason to be glad for being ugly."

The article went on to describe her last day on Earth and dying while aboard a flight from cardiac arrest. I'm certainly no coroner, but I suspect TDS had a large part to play in her demise. For eight years I suffered along with every other conservative at the direction Obama was taking this country, but I never went all full-unhinged about him, just bided my time until we got a chance to elect someone else...and we did.

So many people though. rely upon celebs such as her to form their opinions for themselves. It's just a lazy way of thinking and would be sad if not for the fact they get to vote, too.

Thanks Mike. We also have been socially engineered to believe the mainstream news was delivering the absolute truth too. Think we can see where both fairy tales, your mention of celebs mine of the talking heads on the news, landed us.
