What Then?

The Biden/dem plan is to make gasoline so expensive that eventually everyone will be begging for electric cars. Now lets say 8-10 years from now that actually happens. Of course the climate change, green new deal types will be very happy to do away with fossil fuels.
But what will they say when electricity prices get so high that it costs $100-$125 to recharge the batteries in a small car and $175-$200 to recharge a large SUV or pick up truck?
Especially during the summer when demand is high and the power companies can't keep up. You know, that supply and demand thingy that they blame for high gas prices.

But they never mention Dopey Joe cutting the supply.
Doesn't fit their narrative.
