* Sure. Like l said, a change in administrations will have this guy singing a different tune. He has 1,000  of prisoners housed up there, and that's a good thing getting them off the streets- but that costs a load of money. He is getting millions from Trump & if a Democratic President hates he's attitude toward US law- he will come to Washington with hat in hand- just stating facts.

Sending them to El Salvador is a Great deal for taxpayers!!  How much it costs each state for one year per prisoner.

The Trump administration plans to pay El Salvador $6 million to keep the alleged gang members in the country's notorious prison.

President Donald Trump's administration will pay El Salvador $6 million to imprison for one year about 300 alleged members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, in one of the first instances of the Central American country taking migrants from the United States.

The agreement follows discussions between El Salvador's President, Nayib Bukele, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio about housing migrants in El Salvador's notorious prison. Bukele's government has arrested more than 84,000 people, sometimes without due process, since 2022 as part of his crackdown on gang violence in the small country.

Memos detailing the transfer did not disclose how the Trump administration identified the roughly 300 people as members of Tren de Aragua, a gang Trump repeatedly highlighted in the campaign and declared to be a terrorist organization.

Gr, I see the petulant nebbish mooncalf is at it again when it comes to Law enforcement. Not only clueless, but gormless to the Nth degree.  Prisons notoriously cost between $52K - $68K a year to house a prisoner. A few can be a bit more, depending on the location....At an average of $60-65K/person/per year times 300 is $18 - $19.5 Million.....We get rid of 300, that's 300 less lawsuits and liabilities and potential injuries to law enforcement personnel.  $6 Million ??? plus transportation fees for 300 on a few military transports.....    add another million....So for $7 million we get rid of 300 ???        I don't know about you but I am satisfied saving $11 million a year

You big dummy!! If you had went to the first link in my comment where I said, "Here's how much" you could have watched a news video of it so you would have already known that we were paying El Salavador $6M and then you could have saved yourself the trouble of looking for it.
But anyway, BIG thanks for confirming what I said!!
While you're at it, go to the second link in my comment and you'll see what a bargain the $6M is. That's what I call negotiating a deal. Go MAGA!!
