Thanks Jarasan. This was a full week of memes. For real I saw a green 3" praying mantis by the front door last weekend. Hope she leaves us some eggs so we can have babies next spring.

I caught and released a 1inch baby into the thicket 2 weeks ago, cute but just like an adult grabbing with those little arms....

Thanks Jarasan. They have pretty mean mandibles if they feel threatened. My kids used to 'play' with them by letting them walk over their open hands, never closing their hand on them. They never received even a nip so they're pretty friendly to humans. I would venture quite intelligent for a 'bug.'
