* Given that Trump picked a fight with a Non Christian nation, there is no way that America & its intentions are thwarted by an Islamic country. If the Senate & Congress removed 47’s power to act, it would be viewed as siding with Iran & calling for the destruction of Israel. The politicians on the hill view Trump as their Messiah & whatever he says, goes.

* Call them spineless if you must, but these guys on the hill are regular churchgoers & the last thing they want to hear from their congregation is that they allowed Iran to win.

* According to them, to vote against 47 is to block their chances of going to heaven, and they were not prepared to roll the dice on that, especially when Israel is in the conversation.
