If they didn't spend the money on the train, then what did they spend it on?

Education system ? illegals with 100% free healthcare ? Changing the new Billionaire Tax Act from 5% of net worth to 8% then eventually to 10%. Revoking mandatory schooling for all children. Parental control over any child over the age of 5 to be conducted by the state. Changing the retirement payout to 100% pay after only 2 years of work. Theft of over $900 to be changed to theft of only structures valued at $1 million and above is prosecutable causing taxes to fund grocery stores and businesses. Removing all gas stations by 2040 & mandatory green energy is my best guess.

What are the negatives of living in California?
Con: Food, utilities, and other daily costs are high

California's high cost of living isn't limited to housing – it extends to everyday expenses like food, utilities, and other basic services. Groceries in California are often more expensive than in many other states, especially fresh produce, dairy, and meat. Apr 1, 2025

Why are people moving away from California?
People are leaving California primarily due to an affordability crisis, driven by exceptionally high housing costs, taxes, and daily expenses like gas and groceries. Residents, particularly middle-income families and renters, are moving to more affordable states to achieve homeownership, lower their cost of living, and escape high tax rates.
Public Policy Institute of California
Housing Costs & Cost of Living: California is over 50% more expensive for housing than the national average, prompting people to move where their money goes further. Renters who leave are often seeking a path to homeownership, with many finding more affordable housing, saving an average of nearly $700 per month.

The Tax Foundation ranks California 48th in its most recent State Tax Competitiveness Index. For five straight years, California has ranked highest in people moving out of the state, according to U-Haul’s data. BankRate found California was the 47th-best state for retirement. California ranks fifth-worst in roads and third-worst in drivers, second-highest in accident rate, and second-worst in drunk driving.

Based on 2026 data, California ranks among the top 10 most dangerous states in the U.S., often appearing in national rankings for high crime rates due to urban, property, and violent crime issues. Recent data indicates the state ranks 38th in overall safety, with specific low rankings for personal and residential safety.

As of early 2026, based on 2024–2025 federal data, California ranks #1 in the nation for the highest total number of people experiencing homelessness, with over 187,000 unhoused individuals. California accounts for roughly 24% of the entire nation's homeless population and has the highest number of unsheltered individuals.

* No one is going to waste their time and read that shxt. What’s you guys obsession with this State? Always going after it as though it’s a burden. How about posting HOW much our State TAx money is forwarded to the Treasury in order to keep Poor Red States afloat.

* MAGA is terrified about the prospect of Gavin becoming President. One thing is for sure, the next Democratic president is going to send the head of the FBzi, Kash Patel packing, the same goes for the Chairman of the joint Chief of Staff, sent back into retirement.

* It is MAGA, just as this war in Iran Is Trump’s.

* You guys never point to any Red State, not TX or FO, just CA when the spotlight needs to be on. Stop kidding yourselves. When it comes to fraud, in your minds-let’s go after Minnesota & California because we led to believe no Red State has any fraud going on, they as pure as the driven snow.

* The same bs is with Voter fraud, only Blue States practice that. There were no issues when Reagan & both Bushes was n the Presidency, then the felon shows up, wins in 2026( No problem) loses in 2020 ( is a problem) No problem in 2024, but we need it anyway😳

* I got your number fool. It’s the reason l own you.😊

Well I seem to recall Hillary and Stacey Abrahams both claiming their elections were stolen, but yet they never tried to prove it or fix it, so it could never happen again. Why didn't they?
And now Trump IS trying to fix it and get rid of the voter fraud and dems are fighting against it.
Why would they be against getting rid of voter fraud?
Because they always use it themselves that's why.

@grwurston, these babbling idiots that we have here at LP could never see the truth if it slapped them upside their heads. If an article came out about Putin farts at least 40 times a day, they would say well, that President Trump farted at least 80 times a day. They get their information from 3rd world countries and think they have hit the jackpot. They don't know how to stay on point for anything just spewing their garbage and showing EVERYONE just how dumb and naïve they really are. I have a laugh a day just trying to read their collective garbage. LOL.
