I guess they have the( Stockholm syndrome) that the only way any Blacks can be explained.Hit With Stick

Actually, it makes perfect sense why only 5% of those who say they are part of the Tea Party movement are black. (Not "0.005%", as you incorrectly state.)

Considering that 95% of blacks voted for Barack Obama, and the Tea Party movement is largely against Obama's policies, the 5% figure makes perfect sense.

I personally think it is self-destructive for blacks in general to vote as one big voting block for the same party again and again. They would see much more power in politics by voting for people who actually help them, rather than always voting "Democrat".

That's why the black population has gotten the worst treatment of all races after the so-called "stimulous" was passed. Why is this president not doing more for blacks?

That's an easy one, so I'll answer it myself: because there's no incentive to. When 95% of blacks are willing to support him no matter what, simply because he's black and because he's a Democrat, then there's no reason for him to lift a finger. And he hasn't.

The 5% who choose to support the Tea Party movement are the ones who will bring more help to blacks than anyone. They are true patriots.

Finally, it is well-known that the Tea Party movement is being labeled as "racist" by Democrat politicians for one reason alone: because the Democrats need to keep the charges of racism going, so that blacks will continue to support them. You didn't know that? Well then you aren't making it a point to stay informed.

Go to a tea party Louise and find out for yourself. You will be welcomed. You will meet the nicest people you've ever known.

I'm sorry that you believe those lies that are being fed to you but if you won't think for yourself you'll just remain a victim of the liars.

I can definitely respect your opinion and see your point, Louise Black. The tea party was started by propaganda that was spread by the childish Republican politicians that wanted to smoke the healthcare reform bill by sending out outlandish lies, that caught fire in a portion of the population who would believe that George Bush would be our savior if he had stated so.

I do believe, if the Republicians said that the sky was blue, and then President Obama said that he agrees, the sky is blue, then the Republicans and their tea party would change their mind and say that the sky is green. Anything to oppose what The President would state as fact.

Frankly, there hasn't been anything passed of suggested to help, specifically Black People, by the day Republican party. If you see a Black person in a cameo with one of these Republican politicians, it's just that, a cameo. An Act. I think the best thing that the Republican party did in their actions to counter act Democratic actions, was to elect Steele as the Chairman of their National GOP committee. I laughed, because I knew this would back fire on them. Michael "steal" Steele was the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, (another republican tactic), an act, a joke.

The Republican party is not interested in Black people or the little people as a whole. It's big business and how much the Republican Politican can stuff his pocket and keep his or her position at the end of the day.

There shoud be a counter party against the tea party forum...(the Coffee party) that stands up for rational thinking and progressing the American People as a whole, not the special interest of the Republican party.

(Down with Palin, an American embaressment...what a joke).

You have the gun toting Tea Party and radical extreme right wing of the Republican Party that keep threaten people with their guns. I have never seen so much      disrespect for the office of the Presidency. We are not welcome in the Republican Party. They have proved that over and over again. Why do you think they are label "racist" if their not their putting dang good job of convening us that are.Yes, I know the vote have been taken for granted sometime, but likeI said who's going to stand with a party who calls you animals.Wants repeel the Civil Right Act.

There's a very good reason poor folks don't vote republican. If you can't see the reason....well......I don't know what else to write. I think most folks with a conscience know the real reason. It's not a secret.

Both sides have agendas, but one party makes a point of it. To carry out it's evil agenda. Kill the middle class and make the poor even poorer.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to read the writing on the walls.

a little factoid . The downfall of this country in past years started with good ole Bill Clinton and Alan Greenspan. crazy stock selling , house flipping , credit cards for all , you want a new home , no problem even if your credit sucks. He helped enable the credit card companies and home loan lenders to run amuck. I WORKED HARD FOR EVERYTHING I GOT, NEVER TOOK A SINGLE HANDOUT EVEN WHEN SOMEONE OH YOUR NATIVE AMERICAN JUST TAKE IT. I WASN'T RAISED TO TAKE. REPUBLICAN FOREVER.

@louise: Many of the same arguments about black folks "voting as a block" took place back in the 1920s-30s ... when Republicans were getting the majority of those votes. The change didn't happen overnight. Check out some of Carter G. Woodson's writing. Many would rather yowl about the current situation and pretend the 'pubs never got a fair shake, than admit and examine the reasons the GOP lost that voting block.

Louise, you apparently can't think for yourself.
You probably don't believe that it was the Republican Party that ended slavery because your Democrat Party just conveniently forgets to mention that.
They also conveniently forget to mention that the slave owners were almost exclusively all Democrats. Just keep your head in the sand and believe the lies they've been feeding you for generations though.. They also don't like to talk about Democratic Senator Robert Byrd who was a Ku Klux Klansman. Are you concerned about that Louise? Or would you only be concerned about it if he was a Republican?

The lynchings carried out years ago by the Klan were done by Democrats Louise, because the Klan was all Democrats.

But go ahead and be a moron. Don't go out and seek the truth. Don't think for yourself. Keep believing the race-baiting millionaires like Sharpton and Jackson and Farrakhan who want you to be a victim for life. It's comfortable there, blaming everybody but yourself for your shortcomings in life.

Don't you ever, ever, EVER consider thinking for yourself. Just continue being a stooge for the democrats and believe EVERYTHING they tell you.

There is none so blind as he who will not see.
The Bible says to feed those who cannot work.
It says those who WILL NOT work should not eat.

You better check with your REVERENDS though, Sharpton and Jackson.
They'll tell you what to think.
Because the day you people stop being victims, they'll be out of a job.
You ought to try having some pride instead of begging for pity all your life.
And don't forget to do what that Democrat Ku Klux Klansman, Sen. Robert Byrd tells you to do. He knows what's best for you. Do you think I'm lying about your Democrat Senator being a Klansman Louise? Google it. That's your party, not mine. Who's the racists? Do you support the Klan just because they're democrats?
What a fool you are Louise, I pity you almost as much as you pity yourself.

Theres 40 million people on welfare Louise, Their are 30 million illegal aliens, now our government is busy bailing out big american business, ceo's are getting big bonuses, the blue collar work force is still laid off, now we are bailing out foreign countries, not a single extra dollar to educate our kids. Federal funding has been cut. The price of food (alot of it imported) is skyrocketing, what happens when we quit giving money and special treatment to these countries, well they quit sending us food. What happens when America runs out of money to feed 40 million people. I believe the next war will be over food, AND IT WILL BE RIGHT HERE .
