After careful examination of the video, it seems as though the the video is actually in reverse. The start of the video looks forward, but at some point it looks like the video was turned in reverse. I say this because at the end of the video, the cat leans back and looks at it's owner, but the movement looks suspiciuos.

I think you're right. I read your comment first and when I watched the vid the 'splice' was apparent at 00:10. Amusing video though!
