Yep,
Even different areas of the United States have different dishes served.
Grits are rarely served in the north.
Iced tea is big in the south.
Snake in western states.
I like beef tongue but see it rarely sold in the south where I currently live.
Chittlins sold in southern markets but rarely seen in the northeast.
The list goes on and on.
Yuck food for some but a delicacy for some.

In TN it's Sweet Tea or Unsweet Tea.
We'll know a yankee's here if somebody asks for iced tea.
We're biscuit eaters in East TN, don't see grits much. I only eat 'em fried in butter if I eat 'em, which I don't.
You know when the whole house smells like the outhouse that there's chittlins cookin' on the stove.
