The right-wing nut jobs here don't know the difference between media credentials to attend an Speaker invited to an event and Voter ID legislation! Duuuuuuuuuh!
Any George W. Bush event where he was speaking when campaigning required proof that attendees were Republicans by signing a loyalty oath to the Republican Party before being allowed to attend.
Anybody with anti Bush bumper stickers were escorted off the property.
