However, it's very touchy to mix religion and politics TOGETHER and expect everyone to be hunky dory.

Last time time I checked, he's not God, Father, or Reverend Obama...he's President Obama. This whole ordeal was to support the gay's "rights" to be together if they so desire., and it's not his job to JUDGE AND REFUSE THEM the right to do it. Everyone has the right to do whatever they want from a spiritual perspective and it's God's job to judge them for doing it...not the president.
