Hostess reportedly had about $2 billion in unfunded pension liabilities.

Looks like the pensions are gone now.
I read last night a Mexican firm may buy out Hostess. Multi billion dollar company. Going to offer something like 125 million for all of Hostess. 4 years or so ago they offered something like 500 million.
They succeed in their offer all company profits will go to Mexico now I would think. Minus US taxes of course.
I do not think they can be penalized for taking their profit out of the US.
Unions will need to renegotiate now.
Welll, no need to bitch about US managers and US owners making big bucks off the backs of the workers now.

This is why the majority of people are against the Unions. They take, Demand, Control, until it's all gone.

I agree MADDOG. I am for a worker being fairly treated on pay and benefits but they need to cut some slack now and then on negotiations.
