They dropped their push for unemployment benefits for those benefits that expired in 2012 prior to the election.
Unemployment benefits run out those that were collecting were taken off the unemployment figure.
Those people whose benefits ran out prior to the election paid for Obama's lowered unemployment figure. Now that the election is over wala the former unemployed need benefits.
