I look at it with a few more shades of gray than this.

As the old adage goes, you can tell that a politician is lying by the fact that their lips are moving, but there is lying and then there is lying, corruption, and a complete lack of ethics or guiding principles. (A certain Speaker of the House comes to mind as I type this.)

In some areas of the country things are done with a little more civility, and there is a bit more respect paid to a common set of morals.

They say the will show a summary of the drawing result at 1PM? You still can see it w/o internet but it will be a fleeting moment on the screen. As it was the drawings were remotely-controlled with a disembodied voice reciting the numbers. Someone I talked to also feels that the drawings can be fixed because the camera zooms in just before the ball pops up so you don't see that it came up from the tube, although I think that's far-fetched. But I'm surprised they didn't just go computerized like... [ More ]

Whats next Corzine? Only simulcast racing at the meadowlands b/c it's cheaper?? Video slots in the supermarkets??! NJ is such a sess pool of corruption in government that they will resort to anything to screw u out of money! Now we cant really be 100% confident in the pick 3 and pick4 games? Will the jersey cash 5 be next? This absolutely is killing an already low consumer confidence rate. What to go you idiot

This is how it started in Indiana.

The Hoosier Lottery claimed it could save $80,000 a year by eliminating live drawings when they converted to their new and exciting electronic drawing format, despite the fact that public drawings are mandated by state law. During their first year of using their new RNG, sales AND revenue EACH fell more than $100 million.

However, in all fairness I'm forced to admit that their predictions were correct - they DID save that $80,000 in broadcast fees .... [ More ]
