I hope those states (like mine), that haven't made a decision on this issue, start taking note.

Glad to see somebody get the ball rolling.

I don't understand why stuff like this always has to take forever. State Lotteries need more movers and shakers instead of the slow-motion bureaucrats they always seem to have. Too bad we can't vote out the ones who move with the speed of a three toed sloth.

The South Carolina Education Lottery Commission voted Tuesday to move forward with the proposal to add the Mega Millions game to the line-up of games currently offered for sale in the Palmetto State.

The nine-member Board voted unanimously to allow cross-selling of Mega Millions and Powerball as early as January 31, 2010.

South Carolina is one of 31 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands belonging to the Multi-State Lottery Association which operates Powerball. SCEL b... [ More ]
