They are really trying to find his money ..there are several properties instead of just two. I was there for about 3 weeks and it was on the news everyday. It is like a treasure hunt. Where did she hide it? They are turning over every rock, leaf and twig to find it! His sons deserve to be taken care of and whatever is left of his estate should go to them. I just hope the lawyers representing them do them justice and not unjustice afterall they are just little guys.

I'm going to email the lottery on the rules about winners.

They definitely release your name, and from there it takes no effort at all for a predator to find out where you live. I just googled myself and right there is my address, age, income for any louse to use against me. Can you imagine if all of a sudden your name is in the news as the new multi-millionaire???

people will kil you for anything these days ....money is the root of all evil ....or something like that ..the winner is in love and over come with happiness and befriends someone who kills him !!!!! and so it goes ..life can go so fast ..... your but is being sexed one secound ..... then in the Corroners office the next day all in the blink of an eye....

I do not believe FL requires a press conference yes what a mistake. I just wonder how many people 'really' know how they would react if they won a large amount of money? My husband I talk about it we still don't know what we would really do. You don't want to be greedy, yet you don't want every scam artist hunting you down. His first mistake was giving a press conference in 2006 announcing a charity foundation. That's an open call for predators and con artists.

I understand they have to release your name, but does FLA. really require a press conference

Poor guy. He should be carefree living in the Bahama's. RIP Abraham. I think she probably got in over her head extorting him...she probably kept demanding more money for her and her associates. Either him or someone in his family smelt a rat and he confronted her....... This woman probably deserves more than she will get...but I hope justice is done and doesn't get off on a technicality or lousy plea deal..

As dede moore words states, she was helping a man that got taken advantage of, and that is what she did, she took his kindness for weakness and due to her greed wanted more and did the awful thing killing this kind man, she is evil and I hope justice is serviced and his family can carry on cherishing the sweet happy memories of the son, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and a great friend Mr Shakespeare has left behind.

A leather folder may hold the key to the cash and assets taken from slain Lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare and what may be owed to his estate.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Detective Preston Hollis got the folder Jan. 31 from Linda Donegan of Plant City, the mother of Dorice DeeDee Moore. Moore was arrested Feb. 2 and charged by HCSO with Shakespeare's murder.
