Now who is going to pay the small retailers for all the lost revenues? Again the small person/business is getting screwed by the big business.

Ohio had similar problems when Intralot took over a year ago after Gtech had been running Ohio lotteries for 20 years but now everything seems to be working fine.

several of the main problems are as follows: the new slips are too small to read for people with vision

problems to fill in. there is a very limited countdown timer for keno to indicate when the next game will begin.

the old timer displayed minutes and seconds in a manner such as 2:50;2:10;1:50;1:10;40;17; etc.

the current timer starts at 8 seconds and never displays minutes which is too short of a notification to play a

I was born in D.C.........................there you have it. It hasn't been right since home rule late 1973!!!!!!! This crooked, palm greasing, nepotic, cesspool den of thieves, is par for the course. Why do you think it gets an F lottery grade. I stopped playing there all together when Pball came to MD.

Good thing all those stores in DC already have bullet proof glass. Somebody will eventually flip out over this if they don't fix it quick.

And it's such a shock that something coming out of DC doesn't work worth a dam. Surely that's never happened before.

Change did not come easily Tuesday for D.C. Lottery retailers and customers, who waited in lines and struggled with a new lottery system run by Greek gaming giant Intralot and Maryland businessman Emmanuel S. Bailey.

After an unprecedented five-hour delay in commencing the lottery system about three hours of which put off payouts from winning numbers users on both sides of the bulletproof glass in D.C. convenience stores began the day with a host of complaints.
