All lotteries should offer players a registration option, as they do in NSW. So if a ticket is lost or stolen, the details are on the card. Players can still choose to play without the card, but if they loose the ticket, they are on their own.

The other winners shouldn't have been paid without producing the winning tickets,either.Paying some people without them having the winning ticket in hand is wrong,setting a bad precedent.But two (or more) wrongs does not make a right.The rules of every lottery that I have ever seen say that YOU MUST PRODUCE THE WINNING TICKET to claim the prize.There is nothing in the rules that says if you prove that you always play the same numbers that the lottery has to pay you.Camelot did what any other lot... Thirty days from when? Thirty days from date of drawing or thirty days from when you lost it?

If someone had found the ticket that he lost and the finder claims the prize after thirty days. The finder would be entitled to the prize because he did not report it as lost. But they proved him to have purchased it.

Who in hell wrote that thirty day law when you have longer than thirty days to claim the... [ More ]

If the rules say that you must produce the ticket to claim the prize,then you MUST produce the ticket.Seems clear enough to me.

Camelot corporation is evil for not paying Mr. and Mrs. Tott their jackpot win from STRONGLY PROVEN, weekly played self-pick numbers.

May bad things be returned to Camelot, soon, for this cruel deed to regular, devoted clients! However, it is not too late for Camelot to reverse this evil business decision, this year, by doing the right thing through cutting Mr. Tott and the former Mrs. Tott, each, an equal share check for the full 100% amount they fairly won years ago

Very sad story./

I still have a three dollar lottery ticket, that I lost, which is causing me minute grief.

I put all my pick five tickets in a book for reference, and to keep from losing, this one somehow got away.

I know its in my room, which happens to be littered with losing lottery tickets. I know there is a three dollar winner down there somewhere!

Good thing I still have about ten months for it to turn up.

Maybe I can claim it was for a million and I can get paid too

Like many who buy a Lottery ticket, Martyn Tott never seriously contemplated the possibility that he would actually win.
