The kid was walking home and not breaking any laws.

The 911 operator clearly instructed Zimmerman to stop following Trayvon, but he ignored the 911 operator's instructions.

His disobeying the 911 operator showed Zimmerman's disregard for the law.

A driver at my job hit a parked car. He misjudged the amount of space backed straight into her vehicle. He acknowledged he was 100% at fault and apologized. It could have ended there.

But when he got back to the office and was reprimanded, his first line of defense was, well she was black . Of all the excuses that could be used, the owner of the parked car I hit was black, so... is one I didn't see coming.

The Stand Your Ground law is pretty SPECIFIC.One has to defend themselves without retreating if they feel their lives are threatened. According to Mr Robinson's ex gf, he ran away and RETURNED with an axe- that is not SYG, he may think so- the courts will decide whether it's cold blooded murder or self defense. Florida has a tradition of letting racist murderers walk.
