How very nice for Gary Grief and the Texas Lottery......They have that revenue showing because they STILL HAVE NOT PAID THE FUN 5'S scratch off ticket winners. They had no problem with continuing to sell those scratch off tickets for an additional 7 weeks after the first day of thousands of complaints that the terminals were saying the tickets were non-winners (G Tech programmed the terminals to deny our tickets) boasting it was their best selling scratch off ticket ever. In the story I read, it stated that he would give to those who asked. Even if they were a stranger.

The pressure of everyone asking for a handout got to be too much for him to handle.

It's a shame that that's how it ended for him. Winning $31 mil and losing everything.

I will hire a Trust and Estate Attorney to create my Living Revocable Trust. I will ask about a possible LLC Limited Liability Company. As you say Groppo I will be represented by a lawyer when purchasing real estate, doing business, and in many other ways that I do not have a clue about.

I read the account, and am familiar with this old, typical story.

Having won this money was my bad luck. and things to that effect.

He was not doing so well, before his win. He had a wife and kids, and he cared for them, it sounds like.

So why did he end up taking his otherwise normal life? Especially Now?

The story I found didn't go into that.

It makes no sense anyway. Unless he made promises that bit him in the rear, over his period of wealth.
