Has been named new head of Illinois lottery. Is this a good hire?

Seems to be praised by Vermont lotto officials but looking at Vermont lottery in comparison to Illinois lottery it is small potatoes

The instant games in Vermont all look so awful ,, Illinois lottery is looking for good publicity/attention after fiasco's in recent years and I am not sure this is guy to run things

You already have John, Lisa precious Tiffany Robinson sucking up all the lottery oxygen in that State, why oh why would you want to put the chief bottle washer through all that? Explain,and use small words ticket.

Yes, I have about of a ZZ-Top, myself, and I'm going for the full thing.

It's caused my older sibling to start one.

None of my siblings or anyone in my family could be considered particularly successful, though : (

Greg Smith, in the article keeps his neat, and so he's going places.

Vermont Lottery Director resigns

The Vermont Lottery Commission (VLC) announced today the resignation of Executive Director, Greg Smith, effective October 14th. Smith is pursuing another opportunity after running Vermont's Lottery for over four years.

During Smith's tenure, Vermont Lottery sales and profits have grown by almost 20%, resulting in over $26M being contributed to Vermont's Education Fund in the last fiscal year. VLC Board Chairperson, Martha O'Connor, said, We are sorry to see Greg go but understand his decision... [ More ]
