For many years, I avoided playing scratch-if games but finally took the plunge in 2014 and 2015. I primarily purchased $10 game tickets but occasionally splurged on the higher prize $20 and $30 tickets. I particularly thought I had the bead on a $10 game called $10K per Week For Life when I noted how long it had been on the market and the dwindling number of locations it was available to be purchased. I would buy up $100 worth of tickets at a pop in hopes of winning one of the two remaining top

A company hired to manage the Illinois Lottery cheated players and lottery vendors by misrepresenting the odds of winning scratch-off games, a class-action lawsuit in federal court alleges.

The case, originally filed last month in St. Clair County Court, was removed last week to federal court in the Southern District of Illinois.
