CT doesn't allow anonymity outright for transparency reasons but is too simple-minded to protect the game from friendly fraud.

Thats why i think all lottos should be ball drawn! And a random person picked everyday to check sets of balls and to place them in draw chamber! At least it would feel better losing that ways

Makes you wonder how many other kinds of lottery games there are where something funny is going on.

If that retailer hadn't come forward about it, how much longer would it have gone on

Connecticut Lottery officials knew in January of 2015 that there was a way for retailers to illegally access the numbers of the 5 Card Cash game on their computer screens and manipulate tickets but waited 10 months to notify the Department of Consumer Protection that fraud was occurring.
