I know what pro bono means, though I find it peculiar that somebody who offers pro bono work would use perceived economic status to belittle others.

I'm not comitted to any one zone and diversity is something I deeply value. Please do not make the mistake of projecting your issues onto others.

If you read the story and understood what you'd read you'd know that it doesn't even mention taxes, but says very clearly that she chose the cash option of 770k.

If you had even a basic clue about taxes and lottery prizes you'd know that after mandatory tax withholding somebody who actually wins a million bucks gets a check for $750,000.
