I think a better strategy is to tell them that you're planning on giving some of the money as grants to worthy causes, and that anyone willing to pay the $250 application fee can fill out a grant application.

I was just curious why ressuccess keeps referring to SuperLotto Plus when the story is about a woman winning PB in Wisconsin.

If you pay attention I think the reason will become clear.

After reading some comments in this thread I'd lie to see a jackpot winner at a press conference say something like, How' did I pick the numbers? Well I can't say I picked them exactly because they were quick pick numbers from a previous draw and none hit....but then I can't say they were q quick pick because I filled out a slip.

According to LP's state report card SuperLotto Plus is a ball drawn game.

Question emailed to the CA lottery. We'll see if they answer it unlike the MI lottery in regards to RNG or ball drawings on SuperLotto Plus.

Did you read the article???

Went to CA website and it said the Super Lotto Plus no longer shows the drawings...interesting enough to make me research it further to see if it is now RNG

Red....... it would be nice to know if the winner was a QP number or not??? My reason being that for the last at least (5) years from the different state picks have looked like a 46-58-60-63-75 +0 or 48-51-55-56-74 +0 and them examples were the better looking ones....Thanks to the Lottery Post news we have some knowledge about this WON. Love it. Also read some time on LP I believe that if they won and the hound dogs (family mainly) came to 'borrow' money give them the phone number. They ask what is this for and replied 'My accountant will decide how much if ANY you get'. Paraphrasing here, but what a wonderful comeback.

l will say this much MP- should l win anything over 25mil, l will make good on a promise l made to myself, to do the right thing to someone l have never met, but respect greatly. That's as loose as my lips are going to get.

In the likely event it happens, all the media needs to know is that the jackpot has been won, and the winner is me.It starts and ends there. No additional information is necessary.Saying too much can get one into trouble. What's that old saying loose lips sinks ships.

What's with the fascination of wanting to know whether a jackpot winner chose their own numbers or whether it was a QP Redd? What difference does it make, since neither yourself or the machine knows in advance what numbers are going to be chosen.Now if l could find a Motherbox that gave me the numbers...well hey

What I like about this lady -- note how little info she gave away about herself. And hats off to Wisconsin, too. So many winner stories state that the party will not give a statement, but then the lottery news item has all this info in it about them. For example, their job, what is the first thing they are going to do, etc. I always assumed that the lottery people chit chat with them and people being people, the winner is then inadvertently giving away info, and the lotto people tell the press.

Just for conversation let's say somebody won im a state that allows players to 'mix' numbers, i.e. the player selects three and the terminal picks three other two oe three.

Would that be an important question for you?

The fact that she won is way more important than where the numbers came from.

Everybody knows that people want to know that, so why doesnt the lottery provide that info??

A lottery spokesman said they had the video surveillance tape but that they do not use it to ID people but only for an investigation. After four months, the $156.2 million Powerball lottery jackpot prize sold in Wisconsin in March has been claimed.

Milwaukee resident Mai Xiong brought in the winning ticket for the March 22, 2017, drawing from Pewaukee Corner Pump, 1194 W Capitol Drive in Milwaukee.

Xiong chose to receive the lump-sum cash option, meaning she will be paid a sum of $93.1 million before the initial taxes are withheld, including 25 percent for federal tax plus 7.65 percent for state inco... [ More ]
