On a side note: l ventured into political religious forums in the past locked horns with many an individual, l had my fill. Those topics can become divisive,which is one of the reasons l stray far from them, but from time to time, l will dip my toe in to test the water...

Waste, well fraud s been around for decades at least, but waste speaking of which. How much in this country fully recylcles with all the single serve plastic in action. Funny thing about all the restaurants offering recycling cans separate from trash, not a high percentage btw for recycling overall in this country, and on top of that, if you don t rinse out and wash your recyclables before, well guess what, the recycling companies just throw it out. Several of those countries are also in the top ten most taxed income in the world, too (3 in the top 5), with most of the rest not far behind. The U.S. is on up there, but we don't get the bang for the buck like those countries do, thanks to the massive waste and fraud involved with our social programs.

There was an article about suicides world wide and it stated Sweden had a high suicide rate, which the writer admitted was a paradox because of the cradle to grave government assistance. That an (at the ti9me) the fact that losing a job in Sweden was no big deal because the state just absorbed your bills.

Check this out;

*Crude Suicide Rate, according to Wiki.

US = 14.3 per 100k

Sweden = 15.4 per 100k

Denmark=12.3

Iceland = 11.7

Norway = 10.9

I was thinking the other day about the draw games MM PB. If I picked 5 white balls out. Recorded them and then replaced them. The picked one red ball out, recorded the number and replaced it. How lucky I would be if another person picked those same balls after a tumble and the numbers matched mine.

*Funny you should mention the tax burden of the Swedes CT. They show up as one of the happiest countries on the planet, in fact they are at #10, Norway being 1st, followed by Denmark Iceland. What s with these cold countries happiness? My point being, despite the high tax rate you pointed out,happiness plays a big part in their day to day lives.Then again, with their high taxes, freebies are out of the question.

Btw: The United States is not even in the top 10.

It's really about the financial security that a large win can bring. Money isn't good or evil, it is just a tool. It is how you use the tool, for good or ill.

If you living on a budget from month to month, and suddenly you will a jackpot, it can ease financial pressures. However, some can let a big win go their heads, with very negitive consequences.
