Going to pretend I dont have a state income tax as well but with 223,000,000 Im taking 10% for tithes which if you're a Christian this already belongs to God.

South Dakota.....sorry man but not today. I would say there's a 75% chance that its from a state bordering the Atlantic Ocean (granted that's 14 states already). Also I highly anticipate a final amount above 675 but I don't think it breaks 700M unless we see a roll over. True but the EU lottery hasnt passed 251,091,650.00 converted into American dollars. Our largest win in america has been $758M ($480.5 M cash) which after tax is $266 Million. Which means that even though our lottery is subject to tax the final amount is still higher than what Canada or EU has to offer. No they won't they make more money the more the ticket costs. The point of PB/MM after all is for the people who run the games and the states to make money not the players which is why unless there's a jackpot winner you will see the players loosing a lot more money than what's made. For instance the MM hasn't been won in 23 draws and the total amount spent by players in around $820.5 Million. The number of tickets in play tells us the probability of a winner, so tells us at what's likely to happen. Even if sales skyrocket tomorrow the most likely result will be a rollover.

It all depends on how the balls in MM get dropped.

I disagree. One millisecond is all it takes to either have a 500 Million dollar ticket or a 4 dollar ticket. I believe that the only reason anyone at the store won was because a ticket was bought at exactly the right time.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes here, but if you are getting quick picks then the difference between a winner and a loser is milliseconds. During the several seconds of someone letting you cut in line there might be hundreds or thousands of tickets sold.

Funny you should say that, but l think back to the Mackenzie win, there were people, even in the forum who suggested that had Gloria not cut in line that winning ticket would have gone to the lady that allowed the cut in. The other thing that came up, was that Gloria owed this lady and therefore should have given the lady something.
