And even giving the name of the store should be the owner's prerogative. If all that stuff about people stalking winners is true, knowing the name and location of the store selling the ticket will be the first place they'll look.

What difference does it make what age or age group the winner is?? As long as they are over 18 to legally purchase the ticket it doesn't matter!!

Also, why is it better for someone that is broke wins rather than someone that has millions

Eddie was an IT guy who rigged computer drawings in half a dozen states, dude. Have you never read about this?

He got away with it for years because he passed the info to friends rather than claiming prizes himself. If he had stuck to that plan instead of trying to claim a big one by himself, he'd be on a beach somewhere right now.

Transparency was very important when states started their lotteries, but jackpots were much lower then and times changed. As for Eddie, could he get away with claiming via trust in an anonymous state

A better search might be trust attorney and firm. In some states, the name behind the trust can be released upon request and Tennessee is one of those states.

Usually, the trustee is a lawyer/ law firm or similar in these cases (when they want to remain anonymous).

(just google top lottery lawyer usa :))

So, identifying the trustee doesn't reveal the winner.

Someone who really needs this cash won Cassie? The way l see it as Venom would say Everyone needs this cash whether they have plenty of it already.

They may need it to give to others, whether it be a charitable organization or not. Everyone l know, needs it. That s why we are here.

i think each state should have to:

-Share the store location i always believe that, to give others hope etc., at the store. ya know

along with:

-AGE range, if not exact age, age-range

-intials, or just 1st name with location is good enough for me, and age range.

I am happy TN. won, it's been a while, so i hope some 1 who REALLY really need this cash won.

If only John and Lisa Robinson who won 1/3 of the record Power Ball jackpot on Jan. 13, 2016 had better representation. Both financial and legal help. The Robinson's lived in Munford, TN.

A winner has come forward to claim the $198 million Powerball jackpot drawn on July 13, receiving the prize anonymously through a trust.

The Freedom Trust claimed the prize on Thursday at the Tennessee Lottery headquarters in Nashville, according to a news release.

The winner chose to receive the lump sum amount of $128.1 million. The winning ticket was sold at Worsham's Market in Hendersonville.
