Tap by tap guide for iPhone:

1 - Tap the bookmark icon. When you're on the page you want to create a shortcut to, just tap on the bookmark icon.

2 - Tap on 'Add to home screen' When the bookmark options appear, tap on 'Add to home screen'.

3 - Change the shortcut name. ...

4 - See the shortcut appear.

Rave62, Is that an iPhone (Apple) or an Android (other than apple). I cannot find it to save my life. I have lottery post on my phone--but cannot find an app or where the Add to Home Screen is on iPhone (Apple). A picture is worth a thousand words--and I'm sure your picture will help someone. Thanks for posting. Anyone using an iPhone that found the Add to Home Screen -- please explain--I'm just not getting it from the article. I can usually figure these things out but I'm lost so far..

Maybe this will Help:

Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen. You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen. The icon will appear on your home screen like any other app shortcut or widget, so you can drag it around and put it wherever you like.

Yeah, that's why the article contains lots of explanations about what a PWA is and how it is different from the apps you're probably used to. PWAs are new and upcoming, and as such the technology is still maturing particularly in trying to explain how to install it. That's because the process differs depending on which web browser you use on your phone.

Todd, really great work! I really like some aspects of this.

Yet, my work blocks all lottery websites (even on mobile wifi), so an actual app would be preferable for me. (Note: can't use data either because too deep in building.)

I hate even typing that, because you do so much! But I thought you should know.

APW AWP whatever it is , its old school already. 15 year old can do better job than this.

The point is after you log in as a PAID member, there is nothing much to play around, like no search drawing, lottery systems,lottery chats..bla bla

Please check the article, it describes the install process and it describes how PWA apps are not the same as installing a store app.
