You must mean they're running low on scratch offs, which I guess could happen since there's a lot of work and planning involved in printing them. How lame would it be if they were also running low on the paper rolls and ink to print draw game receipts? LOL

Yeah- determination Jeff, what else is there? I tried bagging the State lottery game but came up short. There is a scene in the original movie Top Gun where Tom Cruise says forget Jester, lm going after Viper!

Not winning the Superlotto plus jackpot is no biggie, l'm going after Viper - the MM jackpot tonight.

Just read an article on cnn. It says California lottery ticket not claimed. Kind of a bait and switch, you read the article and the ticket was just sold this past Saturday. Initially thinking it was set to expire. Heck that wasn't news worthy to even put out there.

Had a deposit confirmation from the Kentucky Lottery this morning. A whopping $3 on Lucky for Life played on-line...hey that's a Mega Millions with Megaplier ticket, right

Not sure if sales are rising because lottery players are resilient or because they got stimulus checks. My bet is on the latter. MM and PB were due for a sales drop regardless of why they changed how they estimate jackpots. Be interesting when annual reports come out to see which games players are buying with money they were spending on MM and PB.

For most people, gas stations remained open. So access to lottery was not cut off. Seems logical that even in difficult times, as long as there is access people will still buy. They expect gambling fools like me to be scared of a virus while the other man is collecting my millions!!!! Hopefully with a mask on and hands properly sanitized. I hate this whole virus thing BTW...

Here in New York I haven't seen a huge drop off in sales of online games. To be sure, the size of daily Take5 jackpots are down, but not as much as you might expect them to be. Pre-pandemic, they were running in the high fifty thousands and lately they have been in the low fifty thousands. I've been watching the Florida Lottery's Fantasy 5 web page, and I did not see an appreciable drop off in the dollar amount of daily jackpots being won at all.

True Story Kenny. A store keeper moved he's business from where he had been renting for a good 10 years due to the landlord raising the rent on him. Said he had had enough moved to a spot closer to American high school. Within a week of the move, a customer purchases a $30 scratch off ticket wins $10 million.
