Point Taken Kee12, but l am open to correction on this: l have yet to see a Jamaican lottery winner showing his or her face on tv or online. If memory serves me well, the last winner donned a scream mask at the interview. Going off that, it would appear that showing one's mug out there is Risky Business. Just saying...

Simple answer...

Many lottery winners from all over the world(including the US and Europe) would want to do the same!

Because as soon as you win that much money, that sense of insecurity and fear of the unknown sets in, irrespective of where you are. Hence, the need to conceal your identity whenever possible!

This is the same reason lottery players and winners in the US want to be anonymous as well.

But this Vader is Jamaican and he thinks its best to disguise himself. The question you need to ask Kee12, is WHY would Vader think it best to conceal his identity from his fellow countrymen?

This Vader cannot do this against the Island criminal element.

Weren't Abraham Shakespear and the other guy in Illinois(The Indian guy) Murdered in the US over their winning money?

No place is going to guarantee you safety from evil people; especially the ones closest to you. If you unnecessarily show off with your winnings in the US, or Jamaica, it is going to likely result in the same outcome.

...l thought it was a typo until l realized that the island is almost dependent on Tourism. No way they going to come up with a $95 mil US dollars lottery. Given the rate of exchange- Wanna bet Vader's outfit can't cost more than $5.00 and some change. If this person had won $95 mil, the only way to stay alive is to head for the US or some European country, remaining in Jamaica is a death sentence.

The exchange rate between Jamaica and the US is remarkable. Chalk it up to inflation there.
