Charging or getting 1/4 of the jackpot for claiming it on behalf of his clients is a bit far fetch. I believe you are getting his fee structure confused with a trial ambulance chasing attorney who typically get 1/3 of the judgement IF the case is won. If the client doesn't get a settlement then the attorney gets absolutely no compensation for his expenses, time or effort.

Here's a thought I had.

Seeing that this lawyer is from Florida we know he didn't buy the ticket. I'm wondering if he could have negotiated to be the face of the club for a quarter of the jackpot. That way the other three get to remain anonymous.

It made sense to say whom and from where about jackpot winners when lotteries first started if for no other reason than to show lottery critics real people are winning the jackpots. Would not be good business sense to allow a state lottery's first multi-million jackpots to claim anonymously or satisfy all the people against having a state lottery. But times changed and today we're talking about over $100 million after taxes jackpots.

Many times it's difficult to tell what someone means and to whom they are addressing when they don't click on the include this quoted text box. But to me it looks like Bleu is saying the fact lots of jackpot winners get unwanted attention is pathetic without some type of anonymity.

He must be excellent as you say. Crump, representing George Floyd ($27 million dollars), Breonna Taylor here in Kentucky (12 million dollars); BTW this is her one year Anniversary of her murder by our fine LMPD, as well as several other high profile Black cases. My point is he is from Florida too. They both are worth their weight in gold IMHO.

Glad they had their Attorney on GMA this morning. Said the age ranges from 20's-60's and no names mentioned as it should be even though Michigan is not an anonymous state. Certainly it'll leak out or through a FOIA inquiry. Just leave them alone
