I know the article is about the Kentucky lottery but someone spending 250K on lottery tickets is no money at all compared to what some people send or have spent. Youtuber Mr. Beast (Jimmy Donaldson) 23, spent 1 Million Dollars on lottery scratch-off tickets. With a lot of those scratch-off tickets being the $50 dollar tickets. I think when he and his friends finished scratching and scanning all those tickets, I think Mr. Beast lost about 250K. There are people spend some serious money on the lot... [ More ]

Last week found a $5 winner, three years before a $200 winner.

$250K is chump change compared to what some players wager. Counted 46 $20 scratch-offs piled up next to the scanner. Knew better, but still checked them all. No winners

We've donated quite a bit to this (lol, not really)!

Finally got new phones where we can check our tickets, enter second chance drawing. As for me I purchase some tickets with it though I prefer on-line and in person. The biggest disadvantage to on-line/phone purchases that IF the jackpot were to be won on either route, KLC told me they will not cut separate checks like they would otherwise. Sure wouldn't want that tax burden on my shoulders!!

Lottery sees highest sales in state history

The Kentucky Lottery announced during a board of directors meeting last week that its sales are at an all-time high, the largest in the organization's 32-year history at $1.3 billion.
