Why? The odds are way better.

Eurojackpot is 1:95 000 000

Euromillions is 1: 175 000 000

German Lotto is 1: 140 000 000 with second prize regularly going up to 4 million within 2 draws.

The only crap one is SuperEna wit 1: 600 000 000, which is about twice as ahrd as Mega.

Cause there are more savy players in those high revenue States... They won't risk THAT much revenue, possibly suffering a serious blow to an already dying game..that's why they picked Idaho , to test the idea...they're only significant if you're concerned about potatoes ...notice how LOs CONDITIONED the State's players by threatening to STOP having PB there FIRST , then hit'em with ANOTHER $1.00 cost increase, but this time MANDATORY..!!

Your second sentence speaks volumes. No accountability, just do as they please. Using Covid-19 was just an excuse IMHO to drop the starting jackpots..conveniently MM PB both agree to that.

I hope that KLC goes back to ball drawings vs RNG but something tells me when pigs fly they'll revert back to that.

2020 was the pick 4 today here and paid out handsomely

Euromillions costs 2.50 EUR / 1 line for years. They started at 2 euros with 5/50 and 2/9, that is 5/50 and 2/12 now.

Tonight's payout for 4/5+0/2 was 16.90 euros / 2.50 euros.

16.90/2.5= 6.76 EUR / 1 EUR

With p() = 0.000072405128900437477..,

or 1 IN 13811.1762.. .

Compare this to 4/5 payouts of a 5/39. Even 4/5 from 5/32 pays *250.

That IDAHO LOTTERY is the ONLY Winner in that game.

For the POWERBALL drawing for 07/24/2021, 4,138 were non power play winners and the winners that elected the power play option was 1,194 that is 1/4 of winners v/s the non power up winners and that is standard practice in all states that offer POWER PLAY option.

The IDAHO LOTTERY will pay out less winners with the POWER PLAY FORCED OPTION but they will make a killing making people think that they are acting in their best interest.

I think that the USA has more rich people, high rollers. There could be a game with 20-50 dollars / 1 line. I have seen people betting 2000 euros on a chance simple at roulette.

I shudder when I look to European lotteries and hope it never comes to fruition here with seven #'s to pick from. IF that happens that might be the straw that breaks the Camel's back for me and probably lots of other folks too. Hard enough to win with six numbers.

I always play Powerplay; however I wish they'd match Mega Millions for secondary prize. Once in a blue moon---if that often, seriously, PB has the Powerball # as 10...but it doesn't apply to secondary prize. They're getting awful gr... [ More ]

It (Powerball) has been Idaho's favorite game since we helped establish it with twelve other lotteries nearly 30 years ago. After nearly a decade of continued success since the last change to the game, the time was right for the Powerball Game Group and the Idaho Lottery to introduce these game enhancements.

*Started out initially with 45 numbers...with cutoff time at 10:45p

then to 49 numbers.. then to 53 numbers then to 55 numbers then to 59 numbers, with cutoff at 10p nationwide then to 69 numbers then to $2. per ticket Now, to 3 drawing per week , instead of 2, with preps to take a mandatory $3 purchase Nationwide, if not indeed Global...

The PowerPlay feature is worth the extra $1. But seems like they'd need approval from MUSL to even do that? I'd still pay though because I usually add it. I think the large unknowing majority would as well.

Is that even legal? The Power Play is an OPTION of the Powerball consortium of states that sell the game. Mandating that players MUST PURCHASE the Powerplay appears to be in violation of gaming laws.

Their sales must have dropped because on top of their reneged promise of $40 million starting jackpots, they plan to have 3 draws a week for powerball. I think greed is largely at play and the 3 draws a week is them trying to get past the $20 million starting jackpots. What they are doing in idaho will turn off even more players because I suspect things have slowed and stayed slow because of the drop to $20 million starts. Is this only for Idaho or for everyone else too? I only want the $2 tickets, power play is a waste of $ unless you live in a free play state, which I don't. Idaho is definitely not a free play state as it's west of the Mississippi River.

This really disappoints me. They are not even giving us a choice to choose whether or not we want the power play. Some people just want a few tickets without the extras and now they have to get it.
