Yes, I really would! If i'm going to be famous (here in LA ppl would find out who won), why not go all out.

The funny part would be after somehow buying 50 million tix before the draw, I then lost.

A person would have to pay alot of people to buy that many. Sadly, probably not feasible.

Would definitely try and buy the most tickets for the next drawing. As far as I know it's never been done

Dont believe the hype.

The only reason nobody is winning is because the repeating pattern for numbers is dormant.

That is the easiest pattern to take advantage of in ANY game.

Also this is the first over a billion JP amount with the $2 price point, so its not really a milestone at all IMHO.

They got to a billion before with the $1 ticket price.

As you know this lottery guy sends questions to the KY lottery on their FB msg page. Initially on ilottery they would not offer Pick 3 or Pick 4 as they said it would hurt Mom and Pop stores. So that changed. Then emailed a question why can't I play the same #'s on say Pick 3 for Mid-day Evening @ the same time vs doing it separately. There is talk of Mega Millions upping the ticket cost to $5 a ticket. Back in 2016 when it hit 1.5B, if those tickets were $5 each, that jackpot would've been over 5 Billion. I hate to pay that much for a ticket, but I love seeing billion dollar lotteries. lol

The last times July 29th fell on a MM drawing day were back in 2016, 2014, and 2011. You can go to usamega.com to see what numbers came out those dates. That site goes all the way back to the first MM drawing. The only thing is, MM format last changed in October 2017.

Considering the lowest jackpot win in the last couple years was $106 million, they could easily raise the starting jackpot. Though it doesn't make a difference if nobody wins it.

Ticket sales almost double from Friday and had a slightly better than a 50% chance of someone winning. Even the jackpot hunters will be buying tickets for Friday's draw.

Oh no 1-2-3-4-5-6 is the worst combination to play. Even if by some miracle this number is drawn, you will have to share the jackpot with too many people. I read that 10K people play this number daily.

I am reminded of the tv show LOST. Hurley won the lottery with the numbers 4-8-15-16-23-42. In May 2011, the mega million jackpot was $355M. On that day 4 of those 6 numbers were drawn and 41,763 people won $150 each.
