I use the same strategy and have been for years and so do many others. I do 5 tickets of same numbers but different megaball/poweball with the megaplier/powerplay at $15 a play. The biggest I got back was I think $200 a few years ago. I don't play like that all the time as it is too expensive but one day I'm hoping to match all five for second prize or even third.

I wish the article would have answered what would seem to be fundamental questions. 1) Were his two winning tickets identical numbers? 2) If they were different numbers, what was the overlap of the four winning numbers (i.e. how close was he to getting all five numbers on his ten purchased tickets but especially the two winning tickets

This guy was thinking ahead, covering all bases. If you don't win the 1st or 2nd place prize. Just double up on the 3rd place prize and go home $300,000 richer. Great job, Mr. Baker.
