no, it did not take him one draw. How often that number drops proves that. You have an example of a proven method in front of you with expenditure for a year. You can adjust the math from there, it's really straightforward. What others are spending, that is on them, they may have the same method this guy uses or another. And obviously, his objective and others are not just to win 5k or 500 dollars. He clearly showed that with his method.

No, I don't mean using the same method for 13 1/2 years to win 120K because he purchased around 24 tickets with 8888 for one draw. I am speaking of him or anyone spending hundreds of dollars weekly, just to win 5K. Really we don't know how much the guy spent over the years before he won the 120K. I have stood in line behind people at convenient stores and lottery vending machines who are buying 30, 40, 50, 100's of dollars in Pick 3 or Pick 4 tickets. no, even he used the same method for a year that's only 8,760 he would have to use that same method for over 13 1/2 years to come close to spending 120k. Nobody is going to do that.

Yes probably buying a large amount of tickets did pay off for the guy but the question remains how much money did he really spend over the years to win the 120K ? Unless there is a special strategy to playing Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5. Players spend hundreds of dollars weekly trying to win, $500, $5000, or $50K. Probably saw a slight trigger for it from the 23rd drawing. It pulled 9388 with the fireball being 8. 9 can be dropped down one to 8 and 3 is supposed to be the mirror to 8.

It's also possible that that number is just a favorite of theirs, too.

Not to mention, the related news links show that buying large amounts of tickets can give you huge payouts in VA.

I play Pick 4 from time to time but have never won anything. I have tried the different rundowns but nothing has worked. I am not the kind of player who spends hundreds of dollars buying tickets daily or weekly. In my state I have tried purchasing 8888 or 4444 or 5555 and they are always sold out. Is there a strategy that predicts the next winning number without buying tons of tickets

Exactly! that person studied the parameters of the game. I knew the 3 and 4 prize wins are fixed amounts. But thought it would have some kind of liability clause to where it can't pay out, a very large amount like that, especially to one person.
