There are many 2X PowerPlay balls (they're actually not balls because the PowerPlay number is generated by RNG software) but MUSL programmed their RNG to have only one 10X. That's why so few 10X's but a lot of 2X's.

The jackpot amount never decreased, and in fact increased by approximately $22 million prior to the draw. Cash payouts are based on interest rate fluctuations.

Forgot about Double play since it is not offered here. Had played it in Indiana once for several draws.

What I hadn't figured out is there another drawing for double play since I've never seen a drawing nor read about it?

A 10X power play would net you 10M on the second prize, that would be such a motivator.

But now what they did is make another 10M jackpot called double play.

You still have to match 5+1 to win it - just as hard as winning the original jackpot.

Do you think eliminating the double play $1 and having the 10X on the second prize regardless of the jackpot amount would motivate people to buy more and as such not affect the money brought in by the extra $1 generated by the double play

My 'little' pet peeve with Powerball is the rule that after $150 million, the Powerplay of 10X goes away. It seems like it only comes in twice/year and as most folks here that play that can attest usually it is just 2X. Now grumpy grouper wonders why they don't mirror Mega Millions with their multiplier so you could potentially win $5 million whereas Powerball stays @ $2 million regardless of the multiplier

They are just being cautious.

They're not being cautious. They're failing at accurately predicting sales.

Higher interest rate means less cash needed to earn same amount.

They're changing the number of days, doubling the price of the ticket to $2, and only having 44 balls instead of 49. They're also automatically doubling the lower tier prizes and dropping the Doubler name as you stated.

In addition to my history with JP Morgan not being a pleasant one, I know they just settled the trafficking charges against Jeffrey Epstein, thus whoever folks seek to work with it is good to check them out as there are others who may be a better fit.

You should also look into the background on financial planners as well...

(my former planner had major strikes against them for illegal activities, nothing that harmed me but I don't do anything with them anymore).

But even so, what's left for the winner after taxes are paid would still make them what the finance industry classifies as an Ultra High Net Worth Individual . A UHNWI has 30 million or more in liquid assets available for investment. And for sure, there aren't many UHNWI's on the planet. G5
