Funny you mention horse racing. The gaming places here (like a real casino) are with historic race machines. Some folks bet $20 and can win thousands with no taxes. Cheapskates like me if you win over $600 or thereabouts you get KY and Federal taxes.

Just posted about same thing yesterday. NY Lotto didn't even bother to respond to my question about this. Maybe I'll look them up on FB to see if they have a message area.

Luckily for Kentucky players, they ALWAYS answer me lottery questions without fail.
