One of my favotire jackpot winner stories is about a very young sailor who won a jackpot, his wife wanted him to leave the Navy and the Navy let him.

I thouygh he was one of the smartest winners ever when someone interviewed him and asked him about winniing a jackpot and he said, Well, now when I look at hot cars I think I could buy that, but I don't.

Great point. Since I never hit it in my 20 years US Army not sure what they do these days with lotto winners.

ICR a Pentagon Soldier (way back in 1980 or 1981) hit for I think $5 million and there was some flak if they'd let him out or not....who knows?

Coming back from a long ride home from OH, clerk in IN rang up two Powerball tickets whereas I asked for one. Said normally would be the other one but am too tired to do.
