It's the same digits so long as the number is played Box it's a win. Btw, these are the only states with Pick 5 lottery games.

That's not the same as the one referenced in the article. The MD accidental winner's was 2-0-2- 5-0 .

Today's number in Delaware was 2-0-2- 0-5 .

And why limit ourselves to those 7 jurisdictions? Does this magical combination dislike latitudes higher than PA and time zones not Eastern

You do have a double play option!

Just buy two tickets as so- one ticket like 1,2,3,4,5 PB1 and another

1,2,3,4,5 PB2

That way if you match 5 numbers you get two one million dollar prizes the same as power play and you get two chances at the full jackpot instead of one shot at the big jackpot and one shot at the booby prize.

You also get two shots at 50k

I give you credit .... You've got all bases covered but between that and MegaMillions it's 9 dollars for basically three draws.

I dunno what I would do if my state offered double play .... I don't know.

The always-updated list of Double Play states is already included both on Lottery Post and on USA Mega . (LP does not list USVI because we don't yet cover that jurisdiction's lottery results.

I totally agree with you, we all have some selective hearing I guess.

The problem is they always ask Do you want the power play?

I think am helping by saying everything in one sentence, maybe am not.

It's always better when I say Give me a $2 Powerball

To which they ask, Do you want one ticket

In some places with more cultural diversity, sometimes it's easier to fill in the play slip, then language is not a barrier.

I think that you should leave out the no powerplay part when buying a Powerball without the powerplay option becuz I think it's commonly understood that when buying a Powerball ticket it's just Powerball only

Clerks half hear what you say when you say 'without' ... They probably hear' with'.

Another words w hen you say no powerplay they hear you say poweplay.

Just saying

A few times I have told the store clerk

I will get one PB, no power play, just $2

Then they print a $3 ticket, I always take it, I tell them

$1 won't ruin my retirement

A $2 mistake while purchasing some Pick 5 lottery tickets ended up becoming the happiest accident yet for one Maryland woman, who won a $150,000 prize in a single drawing because of it.

An occasional Maryland lottery player had a mishap while purchasing her Pick 5 tickets that cost her $2, but in reality, the transaction could not have gone any better, save for buying more tickets of course.
